A peaceful and quiet retreat!

Overall experience was good. This was a peaceful and quiet boutique hotel but was quite a way off from ao nang's restaurants and amenities. The travel to and fro from ao nang was rather expensive at about 500Baht per way, but do haggle and ask the shops outside the hotel for a better rate. The hotel was small but secluded with its own little tidal beach which would be submerged at high tide. Food was lovely and variety was considered plentiful for hotels of similar class. My only complaint was that the staff was passive when my room's bathtub drain was faulty. Although they had workers repair the defect, they did not offer to change rooms for me and my partner while the repair was ongoing. As a result, we were not able to rest and were constantly interrupted by the works. I had to ask for a room change before the staff acted on my request. The servce staff should pay more attention to the needs of the guest.
Overall, still recommended for a peaceful getaway.

This place will forever be the hotel that I compare other hotels to. It was absolutely magical for my wife and me. The staff was so friendly. They treated us like royalty. Our room was beautiful, clean and spacious. It was very private. I can't express to you how magical this place is! The pool was stunning. The beach views were amazing. The hotel is a 12 minutes motorcycle ride away from ao nang. Just far enough to be away from the loudness of ao nang. If you want to relax and forgot all of life's worries, you will stay at this resort.
The staff were so friendly and amazing. They rmembered our names, and always greeted us with a smile. Always giving recommendations for things to do. Do your self a favor and spend the extra cash on this resort.You won't regret it!

We stayed for only 2 nights but had a fantastic experience.
The check in was so smooth we hardly noticed.
All staff were very attentive and could not do enough for us.
The room was exceptional with everything supplied shaver toothbrush the lot.
The Spa was great I recommend Khun Add for a really good massage.
The pool was beautiful and very clean and the restaurant had great food and reasonable prices. We will visit Nakamanda again.
Thanks for a very enjoyable experience.

Perfect but really far from everything

It is a really nice resort but nobody speaks good English which is a shhame. If you want to take part in the hum and dru of the city, do not stay here, there are not many restaurants, bars, shops nearby. Go to ao Nang then. Otherwise, it is relaxing and beautiful.
