An ok place but Not in low season!
Overgrown, damp, Far from everything!
Stay here for two nights and was dissapointed! Very damp feel to the room, balcony had tress in the way which were over grown! Quite far from everything! Free internet was rubbish! Overall it was not worth the money at all!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : ELEPHANT TREKKING!!

Swimming pool, closeness to beach
Rooms were damp and breakfast was not good
We thought Pakasai would be a luxury resort based on the homepage and other reviews, but now in the rainy season the rooms were damp and smelled like mould (we changed twice and all were the same), the bed was hard as a rock, breakfast had flies all over the fruit and the staff did not try very hard to make us feel welcome. The pool however was very nice and unoccupied most of the time and the beach, restaurants and shopping were all close by.
Restaurant Tip : Go to the Thailandia restaurant for a real taste of Thailands famous smiling service.

Pool, the rooms, clean and quiet
This hotel in Ao Nang is a true surprise. Very quiet just off the main road yet it is an easy walk to any where on the beach. The pictures of the rooms and hotel do not do it a real good service. The place is better than what you see. I am in Thailand 5 times a year and this hotel rates as the best for the money and would be booking there all the time. Oh and the breakfast selections and presentation was excellent.

Beautiful hotel
Great Breakfeast
Fantastic hotel. Be careful on the location of the room. Our room was FAR (623) and the trek to get there was a long one!!
The MANDATORY XMAS dinner was not worth the price. I had advised that we would be arriving LATE on the 24th and still had to buy the dinner. We were served reheated food.
Hotel Feature Tip : Very well located

Well kept, friendly staff. A little too difficult to communicate with the reception desk as their English is a little shaky at times.
Nothing significant to complain about with the possible exception of the mandatory Xmas eve party that left me wanting for quality food.
The hotel was in an excellent location, near the beach, and could walk to most of the sights, restaurants, and bars in the vicinity. The reception desk had people that spoke some English, but at times it was difficult to communicate with them. They were most accommodating when you requested something, so you can't fault them for going the extra mile to please you. My room was way up on the slope so it was a considerable climb that would have presented a problem if you were not fit. I would suggest that when making reservations that you request a room near the reception desk if you are not into some exercise. The food is not what I would call outstanding, however there are a few restaurants nearby so not a big issue.

The hotel is beautiful and the price is VERY reasonable and the room is spacious. Very nice service, the employees of the hotel spoke very good English. Even the night guard are friendly. The swimming pool is gorgeous.
The air con in our room was leaking and it made a loud noise and the toilet smelled of urine a little bit.
The workers are great and the service is excellent! However, the rooms need improvement a little bit with the leaking air conditioner and the distinct smell in the toilet. However, the hotel itself is gorgeous overall and the location is great, its near the Aonang area!! I would definitely recommend my family and friends to go there.

The hotel offers beach mattresses and a beach bag (located in rooms) for the use of the hotel guests. This is practical since you do not have to have one of your own.
