dirty, tired, old and web site is misrepresentative of the hotel completely.

I would say that when the hotel was built it was quite grand but looks like it has never been decorated or refurbished since. Their web site shows pictures and facilities from when it was built in 2000. A building site is the view from the pool and sea view rooms; the crockery/cutlery and general cleanliness of the hotel left a lot to be desired and if we had not pre-paid we would have checked out sooner. We object to having o pay for Spa facilities as simple as using the steam room or sauna (even if it was not out of action) and when we checked out we booked into another hotel for two nights at half the price which was actually one of the best I have stayed in, in S E Asia. Pavillion Queens Ba should be closed for major investment and refurbishment immediately!

Travel tip : check out a new hotel in a quiet beach front line area called Salay Talay - FAB!

Beautiful, clean, and quiet hotel with spacious rooms. Good service.

The spa is expensive, outside the center of Ao Nang, not at the beach, hard beds.

Restaurant Tip : Restaurant Carnivore has good service and good menu. Food is good and fairly cheap.

Nice interior design, room of a very high standar, available tourist agency on the ground floor with a huge variety of journeys for a day, half day or even few hours.

Very old towels (even holes), the breakfast very poor with no choices available, everyday totally the same, locations of the hotel very far from the beach (the service lied it's 5 minutes walk), rats in the restaurant. The hotel offers Japanese cuisine, but the food is old and very bad. We have waited very long for the meal, paid almost 2000 Bath for 2 plates and felt sick after (vomiting the whole night).

The hotel is quite nice, especially the interior. However there are too many cons as for the hotel which is far from the beach. The food definitely needs to be improved. the card for locking and closing the door are to complicated since you use one for opening the door and second to open it (they look exactly the same, so you always make a mistake) and there is a third one you get, but it doesn't open or close the door, and there are not lockers inside the room so still don't know what for. For the price give it could be much better. I wouldn't go there for the second time.

Travel tip : Nothing.
