Great views, grand but tired

huge rooms great views

you need a sense of humour when staying once grand but now lots of empty grand spaces, staff friendly, short walk down hill to beach and restaurants. pool beautiful, lovely garden. discounted room good value, wouldnt wan to pay full full price, other services such and laundry and bar very expensive but these are available just down the street.

Beautiful hotel, great location, amazing staff

For a person looking to relax in a crowded tourist town.

Walking distance from down town with beautiful a building and a view. Close to alot of restaurants, massages, spa, gym (on the other side of the road) and a local store. The staff was really helpful and nice to talk to. They did go the distance and more to keep us happy.
Hotel Feature Tip: The building has seen it's best days, but that didn't bother us. It gave the place some character.

Lovely hotel in a quiet area, about 15 mins walk out of the main town but worth it.

large room, big bathroom with seperate toilet, bath and shower, large balcony with swing and sitting area.

Our stay at Pavilion was great. We arrived with our 2 children which we hadn't mentioned upon booking the room, and the staff didn't say anything. They were very accommodating and did not charge us extra for breakfast for the kids. The room was quite spacious and the balcony was an extra nice feature as we could stay on the balcony after the kids went to sleep. As a previous reviewer has mentioned, we did have a few towels with holes in them and the over all condition of the hotel was dated and needs renovating. However the room was neat and clean, towels were always clean. Also, we were in a room with 2 beds, I was expecting 2 twin size beds, but they were actually double size! Which was perfect for our family of 4.
Hotel Feature Tip: Breakfast was ok, nothing special. If included in price great, but if not then there are lots of stalls on the beach to get the Thai pancakes which are cheap and fabulous!

Good old Hotell

Big rooms

this old hotell was once a very beutifull hotell and still is , but the times has made the rooms decay and nothing has been done to fix it. anyway the the rooms are big and great. the staff is fantastic. the hotell lies little bit away from the ao nang beach , but walkable in 15 min or you can use the many tuk tuk that is awailable. it is worth to uppgrade your room to deluxe.

Good option but a bit run down

great price, beautiful hotel,

we are a large family and needed 2 rooms. they did not have connecting rooms, but it worked. the bathrooms need some work. they are large, but run down. the cleaning could have been better without much more effort. the front staff was very nice and helpful. the rooms were large and the balcony was fantastic with a great view of the sea and sunset. we loved the location! the pool was great!!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Bill down the street was a great help in securing tours each day. They were fairly priced and loads of fun.

Very large room and friendly staff

Staff speaks good english and very easy to get a TUK TUK in front of hotel

We book a smaller room and given super large (SUITES) room upon arrival. Good for honeymooners because the location is 250m from main road. Have a few good restaurants nearby and TUK TUK always available in front of the hotel. You can also rent motorbike from the hotel.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Wifi at the lobby was good.

Old hotel, room smell, cockroaches, good location

good location
5.3
First room we stayed was so smell and the sheet was dirty. There are stain everywhere on the floor. The room looked like the advertising picture but old and smell. After we request to change to the new room, there are not much difference from the first room and the staffs told me that all the room are look alike. It was my honeymoon and I expected a little more than just a place to sleep. It was disappointed. the last day before we checked out, we found a huge cockroaches in the room and balcony. It was nasty and scary. This hotel need major repair and maintenance. The pros of this hotel is the staffs are friendly and the location is not too far from the beach.
