Peace Laguna Resort, Krabi

Excellent place to stay! Would have been even better if it was sunny but thats not the resorts fault! Very peaceful, excellent service and food. The three pools would have been fantastic had it been sunny. Staff were always polite and helpful. Would definitely stay there again! thank you everyone!

We stayed at Peace Laguna in January for a second time in two years. Its such a great resort. Firstly you are greeted by some of the most friendly staff. We stayed in about 9 hotels throughout this trip and we rate Peace Laguna the best for room, staff, and resort in general. This time around we stayed in the new Superior Room on the third floor overlooking the whole resort. The room was excellent. It has heaps of space for 2 people and plenty of space for your luggage to lay out opened. The gardens are really beautiful here. They have 3 swimming pools which are throughout the resort which is great as you can normally find one without kids if you just ant to relax by the pool and not have kids running everywhere. The location is a few minutes walk down to the beach. But there are little shops all the way down so its an easy walk. If we go back to Ao Nang we will definitely stay here a third time. Highly recommended.

The staff was very courteous. We were upgraded to the "private cottage" because we book from Agoda. It was nice with a small sun deck. The location of the hotel is quiet and scenic, yet very close to town (i.e. walking distance). However, it had taken a very long time for us to check-in. We were waiting for almost an hour. The other part of the resort is 3-star only which shows in the maintenance of the property.

I went in September 2008, and there was some construction going on, so it was kind of noisy during the day time. But after sunset, it's very quiet and romantic. Standard room is inexpensive but not recommended, a bit smelly. Most of the staffs are very friendly and helpful, but a few don't smile very often.

Me and my boyfriend stayed at the Peace Laguna Resort for 4 nights and we couldn't have been more impressed. We stayed in a Private Cottage which was absolutely gorgeous and very very spacious. The included Breakfast was fantastic! I was most impressed by the scenery, such a beautiful resort, very original! Service was very good and friendly.

We stayed only one night at Peace Laguna. We stayed in the Deluxe Cottage (with jacuzzi: the bath is the jacuzzi) but we recommend the superior cottage. You pay only more for the jacuzzi. The beach is not near to the resort but it's a 5 minutes walk away. There are three swimming pools divided over the resort. The breakfast was good. The staff were very friendly.

Lovely resort and very nice staff, but would recommend this only if you have the money to pay for the high end rooms as the standard bedrooms were very basic and you can get much better for less money.

Staff were friendly and efficient.

I want to go back to Krabi and stay at Laguna again!

The private cottages is very spacious, but you may experience very limited privacy at the balcony and the outdoor shower.

Still one of th nicest places to go in Ao Nang, if you can let loose and adapt to the Thai laissez fair style.

After 4 nights in private cottage we spent a night in a standard room (There are currently 2 new buildings, in which we were already finished, older (not old!) Buildings). Tip: Do a room on the top floor type, and from there you have a wonderful view of the rocks. The room goes completely off, just in case of bad weather it might be too small. It also has little storage space and no DVD player, unlike the private cottages.

We have 5 nights in Peace Laguna Resort spent, but in the absolute low season. Insgesmat were only 5-10 occupied housing, which of course was wonderful. Always had a pool for us alone and have enjoyed very nature there! However, the staff was also on the back burner Lowseason-set. Our electronic key, for example, was not every day that we had each day to the front desk and unlock it, without having resolved the problem could be. We often sat alone at breakfast and the staff was partly right next to our table and has vociferously maintained and upon arrival of new guests, it was confusing that they have the guests talking. The pool towels were made daily (at 5-10 room occupancy).
