good location and good lay out compare with other hotel, it has larger space with 3 swimming pool. in general the hotel is in tier one in Ao Nang area and staffs are very friendly.

Location is decent for those headed out to islands (phi phi or raleigh beach). This hotel is TIRED. Staff is terribly unattentive except for one bartender who we tipped well because he stood out from the rest. We were made to feel like a nuisance when making small requests. Rooms were gross and construction made the stay noisy during the day. As covered in my Cons, I would stay away from this hotel. The pictures on its site and brochures are far from reality. The service was truly pitiful, and we left dissatisfied and a bit pissed.
Restaurant Tip : Tanta had great food (pizza and steamed fish).

the beautiful surroundings. The peace and quiet. The friendly and helpful staff. Quality of accomodation. I looked at all 3 and 4 star hotels in Ao Nang and without doubt my view was that Peace Laguna was the best and not a concrete jungle like many other hotels. All the staff were efficient, friendly and always willing to offer help if required. The breakfasts were excellent and no matter what time you required breakfast everything appeared fresh with plenty of choice. The staff also provided a happy and friendly start to the day.
Travel tip : The position of the hotel was excellent and in a quiet position not far from the main street and beach.

Huge fancy rooms, three pools, fun lobby with happy hour. The rooms in the hotel (compared with the free standing housing) are a far walk from the lobby. The hotel is new and still being built, though all the facilities we needed were finished. Building a huge spa building near the entrance. Fancy hotel situated around a pre-exisiting lagoon. No beach access from the hotel, so you need to leave the hotel, walk out to main street and down to the beach. Not a big deal, but if they built a walkway shortcut, you'd be there in less than half the time. Nice staff, great breakfast. Not sure I'd be able to afford this place in high season, but in off season, it was worth the money.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Go down to the beach and get a Thai massage at house number 17. They are a friendly group of Thais who speak good English and work hard for their money. Have a drink at the Last Fisherman's Bar, too, after the massage. Nothing better in the world

Good view and Location. wonderful mountain view. in the room have a little bit smell of the room for no body stay in low season. should be open the door some time to take the fresh air come inside the room. this hotel is a nice one for your choice to stay at Aonang , krabi. please choose to stay at bangalow not at the building will get more private and lovely room. the mountain view is fantastic and they have a nice swiming pool as well. for the value of the money is a good price also. and the hotel is on the center of shoping. so you will get a good deal to stay in this place.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : this is a good place to relax with family. the price are cheap, service is helpful. good deal to stay.

The place becomes dead after 10 pm
The Internet is too expensive costing 500 Baht per day and keeps cutting off. I highly recommend this place and especially in the high season (Nov-Jan). The hotel has very nice scenery with the villas on the lake but the internet is very bad and requires serious reconsideration.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Please enjoy the nice massage places on the beach behind the hotel.

Beautiful scenery at swimming pool like photos. Good breakfast. Standard room with sewerage smell now and than. No non-smoking room. Serve good variety of breakfast. Savory (rice,porridge, noodles, meat, vege, bacon, ham and sausages). Variety of bread, eggs to your order, fruits, fruit juices, salad, and cereals. Very good for family with young children. Walked in rate for non-bedded children is expensive! They were ok to waive it upon negotiation. Low peak season though!
Travel tip : Bank of Aduyha (road leading to hotel) has good exchange rate. The Beef Noodle shop along the same road is really good,too. Have better bargain if you purchase multiple items from similar shop. Get better negotiated tour package when purchased late in the evening. Looks like they are willing to get less commission since "about to close".

Wonderful scenery with a beautiful cliff.
Staffs are cordial.
Cozy and clean rooms. A little away from the beach. I stayed at this hotel for 2 days in late July. It is a wonderful place for people who want a nice and silent rest. The outdoor pool is a great combination with a beautiful cliff. Staffs are nice and rooms are cozy. It is a wonderful pleace for a few days.

Quiet, good block out curtains, great access to the pool, breakfast was great and service at breakfast was awesome think they need to promote happy hour more to try and get people along.
Inhouse massage would be agreat add on service Excellent place to stay! Would have been even better if it was sunny but thats not the resorts fault!
Very peaceful, excellent service and food. The three pools would have been fantastic had it been sunny.

Beautifully landscaped gardens in a great spot.

Great new over sized rooms. We stayed at Peace Laguna in January for a second time in two years. Its such a great resort.
Firstly you are greeted by some of the most friendly staff. We stayed in about 9 hotels throughout this trip and we rate Peace Laguna the best for room, staff, and resort in general.
This time around we stayed in the new Superior Room on the third floor overlooking the whole resort. The room was excellent. It has heaps of space for 2 people and plenty of space for your luggage to lay out opened.
The gardens are really beautiful here. They have 3 swimming pools which are throughout the resort which is great as you can normally find one without kids if you just ant to relax by the pool and not have kids running everywhere.
The location is a few minutes walk down to the beach. But there are little shops all the way down so its an easy walk.
If we go back to Ao Nang we will definitely stay here a third time. Highly recommended.

Good location of the hotel.
Private cottage rather big and nice.
It has a distinct 3-star hotel feel to it. Not everything is well-maintained such as sun chairs, ladder into the pool, etc. Very hard bed. The staff was very courteous. We were upgraded to the "private cottage" because we book from Agoda. It was nice with a small sun deck. The location of the hotel is quiet and scenic, yet very close to town (i.e. walking distance). However, it had taken a very long time for us to check-in. We were waiting for almost an hour. The other part of the resort is 3-star only which shows in the maintenance of the property.
Restaurant Tip : Great soup noodle for only 30 B just outside the mini mart at the beginning of the road leading to the hotel. We had lunch there everyday.

Nice pool and a good location. Standard room is not recommended, even though it is relatively inexpensive compared to other hotels. I went in September 2008, and there was some construction going on, so it was kind of noisy during the day time. But after sunset, it's very quiet and romantic. Standard room is inexpensive but not recommended, a bit smelly. Most of the staffs are very friendly and helpful, but a few don't smile very often.
