i stayed for 1 night at the hotel after extending my stay in krabi when my business part of the trip ended. what i like alot about the hotel is the location. it's situated at the corner of the tourist belt and near to the beach. it's quiet enough in the evening away from the bustling crowd yet not too far from the shops which is something i prefer. the room i got was larger than i expected and the beds were clean and comfortable. my room was facing inland away from the sea and it's quite near to the neighboring hotel, so there is not much of privacy without pulling down the blinds. i had 4 sliding doors so it gets quite warm in the day if the blinds are drawn up.

My favorite hotel in Thailand
excellent service - the entire staff makes you feel like family! the hotel restaurant was also surprisingly delicious, and the room was adorable!

the staff was extremely helpful; they asked us about our activities/tours and helped us arrange them whether we were booking through the hotel or through the locals. (great english for those who don't speak thai.) a surprising feature was that the hotel's restaurant was delicious and not too pricey. we were able to easily snag a table at the edge of the restaurant every time but one, which meant we were right next to the beach and lulled by the waves. (vegetarian? try their phad phak woon sen. averse to thai? there are western options here as well.) the room was adorable and i found that it had plenty of space for 3 people. just a short walk down the beach you can find cheap but quality massages at no. 17. i recommend taking the bus from the airport, but do not get off at the krabi town stop! it will be a further trip than that.

phra nang inn is ideally located at a corner where its convenient to either turn left or right once you are out of the hotel, to reach the different restaurants, shops and bars. it is right by the beach where the tailboats leave for the island tours so you dont spend time travelling to and fro. the hotel has their own restaurant that serves western and thai cuisines and a bar that gives good live entertainment. i had the deluxe room on the beach wing, with the pool just mere steps away from my room.
staff are generally friendly though you do get a couple that may not speak good english.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Try and get rooms on the beach wing cos the dlx rooms in the spa wing apparntly has a bathtub right smack next to your beds! abit weird but well...
also, they do have some international cable channels like TV5 and Australian Network and some sports stuff but 40 out of the 50-odd channels are in their local language.

The room was very beautiful and designed with a great artistic view. The staffs are so good that i never feel , i am on travel . It look like home . The staffs alwayas help us and guide us to make our trip memorable. I am very thankful to the hotel management and staffs.

it's a lovely hotel with nice & cosy interior. opposite street are the shopping heaven and convenient stall. less than 2 mins walk to beach. i love the hotel and pools, i will definately stay at this hotel again.

we enjoyed our stay in this hotel..the ambiance is really great..we got the room with bath tub just right infront of our bed and less than a minute walk to the beach via their pool excess..breakfast on the beach..we were also given free 15mins massage..the room is fabulous..great setting..overall this hotel is fantastic..we have nothing to complain..
