Right on the beach and right in the middle of town.
None really, couldn't get the safe to work, but i am stupid so thats why i guess.
If you love a massage stay here. they are everywhere along the beach. Has its own bar which is nice, own resteraunt on beach, and pool a bit small, great jacuzi there.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Go towards beach, turn left, and see whats on offer, brilliant place to stay.

Very well located in the heart of the city with ease access beaches restaurants and shopings, tidy and clean, confortable and spacious room also very nice personal.
No free wireless internet service and paid internet too expensive, and horrible extra bed, really impossible to sleep, the kid had to sleep on the same bed as us.
Overall very good hotel, good value for the price we paid very good location with ease access to beaches, shops, restaurants, taxis, etc.. the room was very spacious, tidy and clean. The staff was really nice. We didn't like the internet price and the extra bed was really bad, impossible to sleep. And no available massage in the room.

A two star inn. Bugs in the window screens. Deluxe rooms have their drawbacks as cooking smell from next door restaurant waffles into the room
Good location. Not very clean. Better alternatives to be had for price. Average breakfast

nice rooms, friendly staff, nice pool, restaurant nice:- good food and view overlooking beach whilst you dine.
Problem with mosquitoes around, even in rooms, got bitten whilst sleeping first night, so we bought insect spray and sprayed room before going out in evening, problem solved!
I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a visit. It's not too expensive, centrally located, close to everything you will want on holiday. The beach is clean and not crowded. Good location, beach just across road, plenty of bars and restaurants close by. Lots of trips available....go to one of the many 'agents' offering trips, prices vary, so shop around and 'negotiate'! Enjoy your trip, we did.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Boat trips for snorkelling are a must....chicken island for snorkelling!

beautiful hotel with nice pool area and delicious breakfast.
The hotel was also just steps from the main beach and the main road - very close to all of the restaurants, shops, food stalls which made it very convenient.

-beautiful hotel with nice pool area
-excellent location - literally steps from the main beach and all of the main action
-delicious breakfast
-had one bad experience during check out where we were charged for a tiny chip on the soap dish (which they were trying to blame on us)
Overall, Phrang Nang Inn was a wonderful experience - great spacious rooms (with a very nice sea-shell theme); great balcony area overlooking the pool; great pool and delicious breakfast. The hotel also had a nice bar overlooking the beach (from where you could watch the sunsets). The hotel was also just steps from the main beach and the main road - very close to all of the restaurants, shops, food stalls which made it very convenient. We celebrated Christmas here and the hotel put on a very fun and entertaining gala with a delicious banquet buffet dinner. The only bad experience we has was at checkout where suddenly they tried to blame a tiny chip on a soap dish and was trying to make us pay for it (we had no idea what caused the chip...but they brought it down to the front desk and everything!). eventually they let us go but we were upset that they would ruin such a nice stay and experience we had there.

Close to the beach, nice staff
very loud, we had a room on the first floor near the pool and it sounded like the kitchen or staff work area was under us in the basement and we heard banging throughout the night and early morning. The hotels airport transfer is over priced go across the street to one of the travel agents and arrange a taxi for less.
The hotel is in a nice location, given its age they've done some nice touches in the rooms to make them cute and the staff is very nice. Since I don't smoke I appreciate that they have non-smoking rooms unfortunetly they allow guests to smoke outside and that odor gets in the room via the bathroom vents.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : We booked a sunset snorkling trip wih Scuba Addicts (down the road to the north of the hotel) and we had a wonderful time.

Location at the centre of Ao Nang beach, a lot of all kind of restaurants close by, beach/sea view restaurant for breakfast
Not much privacy in the beach wing - balconies a connected a people are walking in front of your french window. The room equipment looks old.
We had a mixed experience with Phra Nang Inn. When we arrived we were given a room, which instead of balcony had wooden wall 50 cm from the french window. When we complained that we paid for a room with balcony and not for this dark cave we were given another room in the beach wing.It was OK,but the room equipment was not in a great condition. We The controls of the aircon unit didn't work, so it was either cold or hot.The area was also quite noisy.Breakfast was fairly average.

The hotel is locate just a short walk from the beach and in between a long stretch of shops/eateries.
The breakfast spread is poor, not much varieties and almost the same foods is served daily.
The hotel staff face slight difficulties communicating with the guests but are offset by their friendliness. The locality of the hotel is good as she has many amenities closeby. A night walk along the street of Ao Nang is not to be missed, but do remember to compare/bargain down if you want to pickup something you are interested. Generally nice hotel though a little overpriced.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : There are a few massage outlets (outside Golden Beach Resort) offering wonderful massage at 50% discount between 10am-2pm daily.

Good location, cosy feel.
Phra Nang Inn is an average-sized hotel with a cosy feel to it. Its superb location gives you access to everything in Aonang and the beach is right at the doorstep (though not the beautiful white sand beaches that you may be thinking of, not in Aonang). The room is clean, although the shower needs a bit of tweaking. It's either too hot or too cold however you adjust it. At night, the pub is a popular place where tourists chill out for some good music and atmosphere. Staff are generally friendly, but keep to simple English. Breakfast is pretty good, but they don't do refills after a while, so wake up early if you want to try everything. For the price we paid, we might have gone for somewhere a little more upscale.
Hotel Feature Tip : Bring your own adaptor - the hotel doesn't provide any.

Extremely Handy to "Everything"
Friendly Staff
Clean ammenities
Great Facilities
Reasonable Price
Location, Location, Location
Onsite Booking expensive (The wee booth over the road was about 2/3 the price)
Smelly drain in Bathroom (Keep door shut & ok)
This Hotel is located on the main intersection in town, making it the most convienient location for any and all eating/activities/beach/shopping. Breakfast overlooking the beach was behaps the highlight of our stay. The get to the beach we just had a flight of stairs, the single lane (Service) road and about 20m to travel, ie between our room and the beach was a single lane road! Over the road was what I would say was the centre of all shopping, it went about 200m along the main beach road and the same distance up the road. Eating at any of the small local resturants is the best option, with service, price and selection all of a very high standard (don't be fooled by eating at only the "Tidy" looking places as you will miss the best food, service and prices). The room itself was very tidy and well serviced, nothing we can complain about at all. There was a smell which seemed to be coming up from the drain but it was so offensive to warrent a complaint. Most of the island tours leave from the main beach less than 100m from the hotel, and the long tail boats are even closer! Take time to walk down the beach in the morning to the cliffs, where the local monkeys come out for breakfast, awesome photo opportunity. Altough we only stayed 3 nights we went on several activities including a day snokelling trip to Phi Phi and surrounding island, and kayaking the mangroves and tidal caves (we only did half day but would suggest the day trip) There are several operators.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Visit the agent opposite the hotel and about 40m up the road (away from the beach)This is just a lady at a table outside her brother "High End" jewellery shop, she will give you the best advice on tours and opperators as well and fantastic prices

Best location, have car park.
Mattresses are not so comfortable.
It is an affordable hotel that very good location, next to the beach, all shops. Staffs are friendly. Rooms are lovely decorated. They have 2 swimming pools. Breakfast was OK, not good but not so bad. We rented a car and parked at the hotel. It was a bit tight, but it almost impossible to find a room on street at high season.
I took my In-law from the State and my two primary school sons to stays there for 2 nights, they loved it. The tour company at the hotel have reasonable price than other one on street, I would go back and stay there again.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : They have a lot of thing to do in Krabi. I would recommend the tour agent at the Hotel, they have a reasonable price than street agents.

Excellent staff and services. Beach is only few steps away. Amenities are juz around the corner.
Parking is limited. However the attendants is always ready to assist you to find one and guide you.
I stayed at the hotel for two days with family and really had wonderful time there. Amenities is just around the corner. Hotel area looks small from outside but contrasted when you are in. Came late for breakfast but a staff sent fruit plate to the room.

Hotel was located at a very convenient point for food and shopping. Morning breakfast was great as the restaurant was overlooking the sea. Front office staff was very helpful.
Rooms are small but adequate. Room flooring has an oily coat which I am not used to.
We stayed at the hotel in the middle of December. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Like the location as it was near to the shops and restaurants. Food was good and we especialy like the restaurant which was overlooking the beach. Romm facilities were standard. TV reception was not good and channels were mostly in Thai. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

- Good location (along main road and near beach)
- Guestroom is cozy and nicely-decorated
- Friendly and helpful hotel staff
- A faint, "fishy" smell in the bathroom. Managed to get rid of the smell after switching off the ventilation fan in the bathroom.
- "Fishy" smell outside the balcony.
- Buffet breakfast so-so only and not much variety.
Phra Nang Inn hotel is probably the best located hotel in Ao Nang Beach because it is near the beach and along the main road where all the shops are. Overall a nice and cozy hotel. It is unique too because many of its infrastructure and decoration are made of wood. Will definitely recommend the hotel to friends and most probably will be staying there too myself during the next trip to Krabi.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Traditional thai massage and foot massage is a must to try at Krabi because it is very much cheaper compared to other tourists-populated cities like Bangkok.
