I will highly recommend this hotel for tourists who wants the pool, the beach and walking distance to convenient stores, fast food or shopping by the stalls. I love the swimming pool which is just in front of the rooms and the beach which is just merely a few steps away. Also, the wooden architecture with many trees (including coconut trees) surrounding the hotel makes the atmospehere more cosy and relaxing. It's a very nice hotel for lovers and family.

Nice architecture, cosy atmosphere, nice swimming pool, beach just in front of the hotel, friendly staffs.

You'll find some mosquitoes but it's not a big deal

  • Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Take up the full day snorkelling tours to Phi Phi Island...other options include 4 islands tour, 5 islands tour and many others.

The room was very nice, clean and cozy (we called it "home"...). At our arrival, the receptionist was very kind and helpful although her english was a little difficult to understand. The hotel was very nice, with modern minimalist furniture; outside the hotel is almost invisible, as perfectly integrated in the trees around. Nice pool. The hotel is in front of the sea and next to the main street. The breakfast was good, abundant and with a lot of choices.

Very nice pool, clean and cozy room, kind people. Close to everything you may need in Ao Nang.

The hotel's main entrances are quite hidden, and it's not so easy to carry your luggage through the rough path.

We stayed at Phra Nang Inn for two days in January 2008. We had booked two rooms, one for our children and one for us. We were upgraded to the honeymoon suite which was a lovely room overlooking the beach with our own veranda. The rooms were very spacious and well equipped. The children loved the pool. The hotel was very quite despite the closeness to the busy shopping street.

I will get back there again! Guest Rating: 4.2

We never turned on the television during our stay so we can’t have any comment about this facility. May be it is a good review of the hotel when you don't use the television for 14 days?

  • Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : First you must take some trips out to the smaller island. Go by long-tailed boat which is much nicer than speedboats. You get a better chance to see things and the trip out and back is more comfortable even if the speedboats looks more modern. If you get a chance, dive or snorkel! Visit the Ao Nang Divers which is located 30 meters up the street. Even if you don't yet scuba dive, joining them for a daytrip is really something. They are a real professional team taking care of everybody aboard their ship which is the biggest vessel in Ao Nang. No matter what level of diver you are they really meet you at your level. Snorkelling with them while others go under the water with air tanks gives you a chance to see sharks, turtles and all the corals and fish life down under. They take you to nice places and really makes you feel safe. I and friends have met up with other dive-companies in Ao Nang and this company Ao Nang Diver is something else. Real professionals!
