Great location, stunning views, very near beaches
Hot and quiet, good rooms excellent breakfasts
No land vehicular access so you CAN ONLY get to the location by boat - either ferry or long-tailed boat (and even the ferry crossing transfers you to long tail boat for the last 100 yards to shore. Once ashore (you WILL get your feet wet coming ashore and will need to carry your bags too!). Hotel is yards from beach and once checked in the very helpful staff will transport your luggage to your room wherever it is. The complex bridges the land between two beaches but the reception area is nearest the best beach. Rooms are really nice and all have verandas for sitting out on - but the mossies are an evening menace

Great location in a secluded peninsula of Krabi
Cosy, private villas
We spent 3 nights at Railay Bay Resort & thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The deluxe cottages are standalone villas that offer a lot of privacy -- perfect for those who want to run away from the madness of the city & simply do nothing more than chill. Railay Beach is located on a little peninsula on the southern side of Krabi -- requires a boat ride to get there. Not a lot to do on the peninsula -- although completely self-sufficient & everything is within walking distance -- but one can take boat trips out to neighbouring islands for snorkelling, kayaking, etc. The peninsula has a small town with quaint bars/restaurants (not of the posh kind, rather no-fuss chill-out haunts... my favourite slipper & shorts kind!). One can get great food & massages at really cheap prices. I will be back!

Nice resort in the heart of it all
Spectacular location, great rooms
the privacy cottage we stayed in was furnished nicely & well layed out. the television & bathrooms were a little dated though. didn't use the outdoor jacuzzi because it didn't look inviting enough. breakfast was pretty good. lunch & dinner expensive. the main draws was being in the middle of all railay is all about. would stay again.

Nice location and decent rooms
Well situated on the isthmus straddling East and West Railay
the hotel is in a good location relative to attractions. note that pretty much everything shuts down in the area (not just the hotel) at 10:30pm. room service ends at 9:30pm... plan accordingly ...i did not my first night and went hungry. stay on railay if you want quiet and less traveled isolation. stay in ao nang if a visit to railay is enough and you want access to night life, etc. the bungalow room was decent.. spacious and clean. i am not sure it was worth the price but considering the other hotels in the area, they can probably continue to charge for service, rooms, and location that top all hotels except its neighboring hotel which is significantly more expensive that railay bay. once was enough to go to railay. the rock formations are beautiful and the water is beautiful to view from the beach on a sunny day. the beach excursion to koh hong was very disappointing. this was arranged by the travel agent based on the hotel grounds. we were recommended a 4 island tour, including koh hong. it was supposed to have significant snorkeling opportunities with fish. unfortunately, poor visibility, few fish, and one island removed from the itinerary. not a bad experience. i did not leave railay/krabi feeling especially amazed or satisfied by my visit. that being said, i live in thailand so perhaps my experience has been shaped by visiting other pristine destinations. just be aware when you decide to stay on railay beach what your options and limitations are.

Lovely Beach, spacious private cottage
Arrange for hotel airport transfer
Hotel is situated at Railay Beach, the only way to get there is by long tail boat from Ao Nang Pier. (approximately 20 mins) Ao Nang Pier is about 30 mis from Krabi Airport. So its better to arrange for airport transfer from the hotel. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Lovely Beach. Can improve on the cleanliness.

Nothing to complain
Location, room,
we arrived there 10:30 which is too early for check in but we request for early check in but we didnt get it as the room are fully booked when we arrived but doesnt matter we can look around the island and have lunch, when is check in time the bellboy take us to the room and i find they have another swimming pool inside the hotel too ( in the picture i only saw the front swimming pool) we booked deluxe room, really close to the swimming pool and easy to access to the east side (dexluxe room is in the middle of the hotel area) the room quite nice, the bathroom look quite old but not a big deal, hotel have pool beach bar with alcohol serve right on the front, breakfast has no pork but enough choice for the morning. **a little bit annoy with the kids by the pool

Great hotel with pool on the beach on railay West
Fantastic privacy villas on west (beach) side f headland. The best restaurant on the ad land too even if it is a bit touristy This is the place to stay on railay,,
wow!! railay how do you sum this place up - no roads accessible only by water so you are dropped off by boat walk through water depending on tides and carry your luggage to your hotel across the sandy beach and the hotels have no signs!!! it is perfect after the day trippers go each day wander down to the walking lane where mats are laid out on the sand and order drinks and watch the sunset it is amazing he east side of railay has mangroves and is not great but it is only a few hundred meters from the west - if you can afford 59 stay wet side ( beachside) do
