Worst place I ever been in Thailand
2
worst place ever. Noisy, Smelly, The food was inedible, the Hotel stuff are really rude and you pay way too much for what you get. too bad because the location is nice. and if you walk just few meter down the beach you will find 2 nice resort, cheaper and so much nicer! if you go to Krabi Avoid this hotel!

Overall nice resort although a bit dated
Nice private cottages, best location of pool on West Railay beach
6.7
Located on West Railay beach which is definately the better aspect, particularly for the sunset. Deluxe cottage was great, very spacious, quiet and private, clean with nice decor. Staff were generally friendly and helpful. Two pools, one on the beach which you can't beat for location! However the pool, pool area and spa were very dated. Breakfast offered a good selection. Overall was an okay stay but found Railay too expensive for what it offered which was mainly backpacker orientated.

Great Location but surprised about booking
Beautiful location, nice rooms, quiet resort, great services
8
extended our stay for one night to take advantage of a sunset snorkeling trip that was being offered by a supplier not affiliated with the hotel. when i enquired about booking for one more evening the hotel offered a rate much higher than the one i was staying on. i had booked through a third party booking agency for the main portion of the stay and was suprised that the hotel would not honour that rate for an additional night. we were forced to find internet access (the internet cafe at the resort stated open from 0800 - midnight but was never open before noon) and book through a third party site again. other than that oddity everything was great.

Perfect getaway for those who need privacy !
Total privacy in your cottage. Beautiful sunset view (west beach)
9
We took privacy cottage and stay for 2 nights. It was the best getaway ever ! Very nice room with private jacuzzi. Feel like want to stay in your room all-day long. But you need to go to west beach while lay down and view spectacular sunset(around 6.30pm) Staff was very helpful and willing to help you should you face issue with your staying. We were happy staying there and plan to visit railay bay again in the future !
Nightlife Tip:
Go to the east side during night for night entertainment and foods. Plenty of restaurant and spa which is quite cheap compare to hotel/resort. Or instead you might stay in your room take your time and do personal stuff. It's very relax and calm night in your room.

Beautiful Location
Beachfront location, easy access to both sides of the peninsula (beach and shop / restaurant), well maintianed proerty, quiet, friendly service
8
Booked a deluxe cottage for our honeymoon. Furnishings were simple and not over done or out of place. Room came with breakfast buffet incuded each day. The peninsula is accessable by boat only (be prepared to get wet as the boats can only get to a dry spot to offload at high tide, otherwise your going to have to jump into knee deep water). Resort has easy access to both sides of the peninsula, west for the beach and east for shops and restaurants. We enjoyed our stay and did not have any negative experiences.
Nightlife Tip:
The hotel restaurant is not the most cost effective, however a short 10 minute walk on the east side will open up access to more options.

Amazing Hotel with Great Views, Service and Room
9
Loved the location, great service from staff that were very friendly and spoke good english. The cottage we stay in was simply amazing with views of the cliffs as we laid down on the deck chairs.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Would be helpful to include the travelling cost of Airport Transfers and short trips to and from the city in your budget

Lovely hotel on a great beach
Accessible to everything, lunch and dinner menu at hotel are great
8
we had a great stay at railay bay. watching the sunset on their front porch was wonderful. i wish that they did a better job of keeping the rancid smells upon arrival at bay - it is really gross and makes me second guess bringing parents/guests there (where the boat docks before you get in a golf cart). is there anything the hotel can do about that? also masaman curry, noodles, juices - all excellent. breakfast could be a lot better though, seems that because it's included in the room type, they don't care much about it. lots of bugs all over the food too so i would suggest they invest in fans for the breakfast and dinner/salad buffet area.
Hotel Feature Tip:
There is a second pool at the back of the property that is a nice shady retreat from the sun. Lots of construction going on there now, but hopefully it will be over soon. Also saw cool monkies on our walk from the hotel to the other beach behind the cave.
