nice hotel but under major renvations

i enjoyed my stay here even though there were major renovations going on right in the middle of rail lay beach and phra nang beach both are beautiful and relaxing beaches the food at all the resteraunts were quite good as well and im sure i will be back

go for a trip around islands on a long boat

Decent hotel in a great part of the country

OK, it's fair to say that I've seen this hotel looking its best but this was not then. There are significant building work going on all around the hotel and this has impacted on the restaurant and the breakfast location and the tranquil nature of the place. However, who goes to Railay to spend time in the hotel?? Even with the construction, it's a fine place to say and once all the planned improvements have been made and its "business as usual" it'll be great. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone and have stayed there several times over the years.

Lovely hotel and ok service

i really liked to stay here, it was a perfect place for a romantic getaway with your wife.
the beaches around are georgious and only walk away, with many monkies, clibing etc.
i recommend!!

Good hotel but lacking room wifi

Good hotel, but depends on when you stay if you are after value for money. There are other choices but expect Krabi ( Railay beach) to be very expensive in comparison to koh Samui, koh Tao and koh Chang etc. all in all, good hotel but the lack of room wifi lets it down somewhat. I would expect a hotel of this size to offer it rather than only in the reception area. The swimming pool was great with a fantastic scenic view of the krabi rocky cliff in the background.

Lovely place by the beach and the shopping street
Right next to the beach on one side and on the shopping street on the other side.

I spent 4 nights in this place with my husband and two other friends.
Clean spacious rooms. Right next to the beautiful green waters and crashing waves of the Lamai beach.
Restaurant and massage place by the beach.
On the Lamai Shopping street - shoppings, restaurants, pubs, bars and department stores.
Bikes available for rent.
Waterfall 5km away - can take a bike - swim and shower under the waterfall
Overall an amazing place to spend 4-5 days.
Restaurant Tip:
Bad food at the Italian place La Palma and wi-fi does not work
Decent food at the Mexican place next to La Palma..can't remember the name of the place.."Barrito" somthing.
Indian Restaurant - "Hot curry" or" Indian Curry" - excellent food
Food at the restaurant is not great but breakfast menu is good.
Could not find a great Thai food place on the Lamai beach but there is one on the way to the waterfall..amazing view and decent Thai food.

upgraded due to work being done

we met a couple who stayed in this hotel for their honeymoon, so we were very excited to check in. we were informed that the hotel was full and that we have been upgraded. we were whisked away to a hotel on the 'nicer' side of railay, and had been upgraded to a villa with a jacuzzi and a private garden!! fantastic experience. thank you

A great stay yet again

this hotel is located slap bang in the middle of the "island" and is very reasonably priced for the calibre of this hotel. the rooms are very well fitted out and the pool is excellent. this is a great place to stay as it is half way between the posh resorts on railey west and the bars and cheep eateries of railey east. the spa is a nice touch as well.

Decent breakfast.
Clean rooms.
We were there to go climbing. Had easy and quick access to all railay areas. Was a bit of a hike for tonsai areas.
Not on the beach, no views.

Nice rooms, nice location
The rooms were huge and very nice. Cool pool area, and a deecnt buffett.

Great location. Easy to go from west side and the east side. Hard to find at first, there was a lot of construction going around the hotel, however it wasn't loud, just a bit of an eye soar. Staff was friendly and we would stay there again for sure. The Pillows were huge, hurt my neck. Internet was good enough and the rooms were very clean.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Nice place to spend a few days. Lots to do if your into kayaking and rock climbing. Try to go when it's not high season, much more expensive.
