Location, courteous staff,

Limited facilities with very high prices, power outage during stay

I think that overall this hotel was about one star short of what is claimed on this site. The hotel was nice enough but I later found out that I could have stayed at the place next door for less and better facilities. This hotel is sistered with the higher end Railay Beach resort and their extras reflect this. Internet service very expensive, cost for tours & transfers at least 20% higher then the place next door and 100b to print one page. They shouldn't charge West beach prices on the lower (but still very enjoyable) East beach! Putting that aside, the place was clean, comfortable and reasonable.

Nightlife Tip : The East Beach has all of the night life. West beach tends to cater for families, newlyweds and retired people (nothing wrong with that at all....just an observation)

The location, surroundings, mood, the pond, the whole lot.

none!

This hotel is located just behind Railey Village as it is owned by the same chain of hotels. It's a mere 2 min walk to Railay west where there is a beautiful beach with sunset to melt your heart and more upmarket restaurants to go with the view but you can get to Railay East on the other side by walking 1 minute where there are cheper massages, restaurants and bars. I'd totally recommend this hotel for its value, cleanliness, location and friendly staff...

Great breakfast, pool, and room service. Amazing view. The staff was wonderful.

Would like more variety in the breakfast served.

The hotel was easy to get to from Krabi and in a beautiful setting. Not far from the beach, but away from all the people. The room was very nice with a big balcony and great view. A very relaxing place to spend a few days. The food was delicous.

Beautiful room with great views. Great pool (with diving board!) Excellent location.

Insect nets needed on breakfast foods, especially the fruit (and fruit needs to be put on ice, fruit was warm). Poor shower head and no hot water when we arrived (but this was fixed as soon as we brought it up). Pool bar remained closed the entire time (poss due to low season).

As soon as we arrived, we were helped with our bags and shown to a lovely room. Room was clean and of good decor and size. Had all the amenities you could ask for, safety deposit box, nice bathroom, balcony over looking a good sized pool and nice gardens. Staff were friendly and happy to help. The hotel itself is in a great location, a 70 metre walk from the stunning west beach and a 50 metre walk to the east side, where we found everything to be a lot cheaper. I' d recommend this place to anyone! We went on low season, but have heard it is much more picturesque during peak season

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Be sure to go and see the lagoon ( at high tide), it is amazing (although the hike/climb down there is not for the faint hearted - wear joggers or boots!)

- amazing beach, few selection on Railay

- ants - dirtiness

My partner and I backpacked through Asia for four months and stayed in guesthouses - so we are use to pretty run down facilities. I believe this was one of the worst upkeeps I've seen. The room was constantly dirty - there were ants everywhere, we even needed to buy toilet paper as both rolls were over run by ants. Even the breakfast was overrun by ants.

slow service

we had a great stay in railey princess spa as the location is awesome, not too far away from railey west. we also had a great view from our balcony. we enjoyed every moment of our stay there and will definitely consider this hotel again if we go back

Beautiful superior room, lovely pool and grounds, great buffet breakfast, friendly staff, great location, i could not find a fault

None

The hotel is listed three star but i would say it is easily four star. the room was big and beautiful and very luxurious and had a big balcony overlooking lovely grounds. The pool was gorgeous and the staff very friendly. the buffet breakfast was great and the kitchen will cook eggs and pancakes and thai food to order. I really cannot find a fault with this hotel and for the price is an absolute steal. i would reccomend it to anyone.

Travel tip : Ask at breafast for what you want, they are happy to accomodate at no extra cost.

Pool was lovely

Aircon units directed on the bed - you're either going to roast if you turn it off/temp up, or you'll freeze!

Hotel rooms are tired, but adequate and clean, watch out for the minibar though as ours was half empty on arrival. Also the shower was blocked, but they fixed it pretty quickly. Balcony overlooking the pool was really nice. If you want to stay on the beach - don't stay here, its a walk to West Beach. Breakfast was 350BHT was was very expensive, and the spa treatments were way over priced vs other locations.

Location, quiet

cleanliness, electricity problems

The hotel was comfortable, but not as clean as I would have hoped. I have reviously stayed in nicer ones throughout Thailand, for the same price. The towels were ripped, many mosquitoes in the rooms, electricity went out 4 times during our last evening/night there. Ok overall, but wouldn't recommend if you are looking for an upscale resort.

The hotel looks great but with poor mentainance Guest Rating: 4.7

They had a swimming pool. It was convenient to go to the pool after the beaches and wash off salt.

We do not want to stay at that hotel because bathroom shower doesn't wok well. The water didn't work at the beginning, so we had to ask someone to fix, and it took 30 min. The water volume was too small. It was hard to adjust the temperature as well. The running water from bath is yellow as any other hotels around there. It was the worst shower in Thai for us!!

It is not next to the beaches or shores. They can take your baggages from the shore if you go and ask the hotel first. The hotel looked new enough and the garden inside the hotel was nice. The spa within the hotel was rather expensive than Krabi or Koh Phi Phi. The air conditioner was smelling not good, I think. There was not enough stuff at the reception, so it was not convenient!!

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Koh Phi Phi was a lot better than Railey. Some places in Railey was dirty. You should not take too much time in Railey. With the tide, Railey looks completely different, and it was interesting.

Clean, nice staff, good location, nice pool, spacious room.

Breakfast, tourist center

We really enjoyed Railay and Princess was the most reasonably priced hotel we could find. The hotel is close to the wonderful Beach on Railay West, takes about 5 min walking. The breakfast at the restaurant at Princess is not the best we had in Thailand, lots of flies around food. The pool is nice and you can also enjoy the pool from the other resorts, kind of agreement between resort's management I guess. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. Just be careful about the Tourist center located in the resort, they just don't know how to organize a tour, you better organize tour from the shop located at the beach. The room was spatious and clean. In general we were very happy to stay there and Railay is just amazing.

The room was clean and spacious. The staff was polite and nice. The interior of the hotel was relaxing.

There was a generator in front of our balcony. We didn't hear it inside the room when the door to the balcony is closed, but it was noisy to sit there.

We didn't hear it inside the room when the door to the balcony is closed, but it was noisy to sit there. As we understood it is common problem in Railey, so we couldn't do much. We asked to see another room, but the rooms we had seen suffered from the same problem. We weren't much in the balcony, so it was ok.

Swimming pool was great.

Pump house outside of balcony was loud. Difficult to enjoy the balcony

This hotel was a decent value for the location. The hotel is surrounded by construction which can be a little noisy at times however it is a short walk to both beaches which makes you forget about the noise. The infinity swimming pool was very nice and over looks the pond. The staff was very helpful and fixed our shower drain the same day when it failed to drain.
