Staying at Rayavadee was a pleasure.
friendly attentive staff, gbeaches and rooms. Gorgeous beaches and comfortable, clean rooms.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We loved the pavilion, the restaurants and facilities of the resort.. The beaches are lovely and all the staff are so friendly. We were surprised however to see so many young children. When you pay for a top resort, you don't expect to be sharing a restaurant with noisy children.

The location of this hotel makes it amazing. The two best beaches in krabi at your disposal. The grounds are beautiful. I would stay here again but would stay for longer. The only negative is that the food is not very good - it was probably the most expensive food I had whle in thailand and also probably the worst. If they could improve their food they would be an all around amazing hotel

Wonderful stay with sunny weather. We appreciated a lot the thai service, the comfort of our deluxe pavillion, the discretion of all thai people, the smile on all lips. We could only regret not having wifi in our pavillion, unless we would pay for it. Beds were great, cleaning perfect, bathroom so nice. Swimming pool is really nice, and even if beaches are not private, the service there was perfect : cooking on the beach delicious, drinks at all time.... The boutique was so nice, even if expensive. Should have a bit more low prices . I got lost a few time, a bit more pannels would help ! We also appreciated there were always an answer to any questions, having always a drive to go from one point to another one. We keep in mind this stay as one of the best we ever had.

Very friendly staff, Great service. Pavilion fantastic, they have thought of every thing you may or may not need and it's in the room. Nice lemongrass oil burner going as you enter the room. They even supplied a bath robe for my 7 yr old. Hydro pool as very clean and served us well.
I would definitely go back to Rayavadee,

the best hotel we have ever stayed at by a long shot. the service is second to none and the setting is breathtaking. the range of sightseeing options is endless (for a price, of course!) however plonking yourself on the beach with a book is also highly recommended. phranang beach throngs with day-trippers during the day however early morning and late afternoon are very pleasant. the beach is perfect for swimming (soft sand, warm water) and the best swimming is at high tide however phranang beach is not a good snorkelling beach as there is really nothing to see. we wish we had spent longer here but it's not exactly a cheap hotel!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Don't visit Thailand during the busy period (Christmas through first two weeks of January) as the locals are also on holiday at this time. The beaches are packed and there are altogether way too many people around which makes sightseeing quite unpleasant.
