Red Ginger Chic Resort, Krabi

i stayed there just only 1 night coz we never been to Krabi before and want to se how it like, but found out that Krabi is pretty crowdy and commercial city ....planty of Indian suits ( which we never want one) this is so annoy!! Hotel is good but found out that staff was a bit rush for everything!! foir example before check out time 30 mins we are just packing our bag and about to go, we got phone called and we told reception that we will be in the front shortly coz my bf couldnot understand what she say over the phone! 3 mins after that about 3 ppl come to our room and try to grap our bag and maid are also coming with their tolley lol come on we still packing!!! so just have to throw everything and finished it!!! Well maybe they want to help with carry our bag to the front but this seem a bit rush and we did not like the approach at all!!! and once we had lunch in the restaurant staffs were just stand in front of us and watching us eat all the time ....come on we need some space please!!

Friendly, quick and welcoming check-in with welcome drink and cold towel and first time in a very long time I was not asked for my credit card at check-in. Having driven there I found it was really only on street parking but with a security guard to watch over things. Our room was very nice but we had one at the back and the view was of untidy scrub but after a while we did get used to it. Staff were always welcoming, friendly and helpful and seemed to recognise us instantly on entering hotel and very quick to give us our room key. The hotel was quite quiet during our stay which was just as well, I believe there are over 60 rooms but only around 16 sunbeds around the pool, we had no problem getting one but if it was busy it could be quite different. The beach was a good 10 minute walk away and if the tide was in then there was nowhere to go on it unless like us you had your own transport and then we went off to find our own beach. The hotel did supply a beach bag, beach mats and beach towels to take down to the beach which we thought was a nice touch. Breakfast was good and ample but we never dined in the hotel so can give no idea on that side of things. We enjoyed our stay here and would in theory come back and recommend to others but be warned, it is a no smoking hotel but you don't know that until you check in and there seemed to be a few frustrated smokers walking around. I've given excellent value for money but we did get it at a very reduced price.
