Martini's Bar
Relaxing lounge with beautiful views, open all day for coffee and cakes, afternoon tea, and sundowner cocktails. Two-for-one Happy Hour everyday. Service is superb, lots of facilities and good choice of restaurants. A bit too big and the beach could be better. There should also be more staff serving drinks in other areas apart from the pool. The Sheraton is a very good hotel with superb food and some nice touches such as the golf buggies to ferry you around. It doesn't WOW you though and needs some finishing touches to be able to truly class itself as 5 star, eg too many plastic glasses. The booking service for excursions is very good and having free internet is useful, but why limit it to 45 mins (very cheap).
Shopping Tip : Walk to the shops at the back of the hotel and buy some drinks to have in your room. Will save you a lot of money.

A few local restaurants outside the hotel.
Very quiet little town.
The beach was rather nice and clean.
Local restaurants on the beach. Rather high prices for drinks and restaurants compared to what you can get just 2 minutes walk outside the hotel The hotel is located on a quiet beach. There is a small town next to it. If you are looking for a place to relax and do nothing. This is the place. But if you want nightlife, you would not have any! The hotel is rather big and the room is a bit old-style. The staff was courteous. Great with free internet access even though it was rather slow...
Restaurant Tip : Try the Terrace Restaurant right across the road from the hotel.

Sheraton in Krabi was an outstanding experience. Beautyful location, excellent service and a perfect place to be if you want a quiet vacation, but still want to be close to the Islands such as Hong, Phipi etc. Price of food and especially wine in the restaurants where a bit high, but the quality where excellent.A DVD player in the room would be nice. We had a wonderful stay at Seraton Krabi. The location of the resort is outstanding, and we were amased of it´s beaty once we arrived. The staff was extremly helpful, and very alert to our situation, traveling with an baby. For instance, when we arrived it was my 36´th birthday and two hours later, a birthday cake arrived with compliments from the hotel - a small thing, but for us an nice experience.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Traveling by boat to Hong Islands, Phipi Islands.

Take Highway 4 (NW) and turn left to Highway NO4200. Turn right to Highway NO4034 (observe the Shell Gas Station) at the Khlong Chilat Intersection. Continue for 15 kilometers and turn left at the Nong Talay Intersection. Take the small road for 10 kilometers and the hotel will be on the left.
