Children at the Sofitel
The Sofitel does not charge children under 12 years of age if they are staying in a room occupied by parents and using the existing bedding. This is limited to one child per family, however, and additional fees will be charged should parents require a rollaway bed or cot.
For children 3 years and below, breakfast is complimentary. For children between the ages of 3 and 12 breakfast is charged but at a special children’s rate, while those above 12 years of age are charged the same rate as an adult.

Spacious room, friendly and service-minded staff.
Limited menu selection for both room service & breakfast buffet. Only one restaurant opened during daytime. Only two elevators for 200 something guest rooms; quite long distance walk for some areas of guestrooms.
The hotel room is spacious. The staff was very helpful. The pool was nice and beautiful in terms of its landscape. The hotel is secluded itself in a tranquille Klong Muang beach area. Perfect for a family or couple looking for spend a quality time together during holidays or vacations.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Should be going there during late October to April to enjoy the beauty of sunshine, islands hopping and snorkeling.

Loved the size and the cleanliness of the room. Very impressed with all the facilities including the terrific pool!!
The Hotel is situated in an ideal location if you are seeking pure relaxation which we were. The beach is only a few steps away which has terrific fews of the nearby islands such as Hong Island. The Hotel itself is very impressive with fantastic size room with all mod con facilities. The gounds are beautfilly kept which includes a Golf Course. Unfortunately, we did not manage to use the Spa facilies on this visit, but we will be on our next visit in April 2010. Very much looking forward to returning to this Hotel.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The Hotel is in a terrific location where you can take a trip to Hong Island which must be seen!

This hotel is very very beautiful, beach, rooms and especially swim pool. All staffs are friendly and well trainning. It's quite and very private. All facilities are very good. Hotel has their own golf course and just next to the hote.
The location is quite far from the city. It takes around 15-20 mins to Krabi city. If you don't have car, I think it quite difficult to go to the city. And taxi will charge you a lot.
I think if anyone is looking for the luxury hotel and private. This hotel is the best chioce for you to have the best experince in Krabi
Shopping Tip : You should buy some snakes or water at Aonage beach first. Due to around this hotel there is no any convenient store.

From the airport take Road No. 4 to Krabi and then Road No. 4202 in the direction of Ao Nang. Five kilometers further along, turn right towards Hat Klong and continue for ten kilometers until you reach the sea. Then, follow the coast until you reach the Sofitel.
