The pricing is a little too steep for the level of facilities provided. Upkeep of the place needs to improve to keep the garden from overgrowing. The so called canal is actually just a muddy stream, nothing that fancy about. The chalets facing the swimming pool is in fact at the back of a local mosque, so you can hear when it's praying time - not too loud, and only for a short period. Breakfast place was nicely setup but a little too warm with only 1 decorative fan. Need more fans here. Breakfast menu was pretty basic, staff was helpful and friendly.

Individual duplex chalet style, nice sort of garden setting bathroom, room is nice and clean, the whole place is in a garden setting, they made the towels into shape of swans.

The trees in the garden need some trimming/tidying up, proably a little under kept garden. It's 5-10 min drive to Ao Nang town, would not recommend if don't have car as it's pretty dark at night to get to town.

  • Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Turn out right coming out from Sunda Resort is the shortest route to Noppong beach. The other direction is a narrow road but gets you out next to the tourist police junction.

A really, really fabulous place! I wish I had stayed a lot longer than I had booked. The hotel is perfect for a relaxing getaway from the hustle and bustle of a typical holiday resort hotel. It is situated a little off the beaten track, and so travel by taxi (available from the hotel) is esential. However the mild inconvenience of this is well worth it. The rooms are very large with beautiful terrace area and good sized bathroom. There is a little building work happening, but no disruption was caused at all. Beautiful pool but would get crowded in high season! We were the only guests so in terms of the food on offer, we may have gotten a false impression. Not much choice. Eating out in the centre of AO Nang is a much better option. Overall, go before other people hear about this hidden gem!

This is a little hidden resort for the people who would like to find tranquility. As I stayed in low season, I did not meet many guests and the place was so quiet and peaceful. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I felt so welcomed. The resort is in beautiful, tropical gardens, and has a nice swimming pool. The room is simple, yet the bed is nicely decorated. I loved the bathroom full of charms. The spacious balcony surrounded by the trees is perfect for relaxation. The breakfast was a little disappointment. It was pretty basic(American breakfast), and not a great choice for me as I am vegetarian. I would prefer to have some local and fresh fruit or juice rather than boring toast and eggs, especially in the hot weather. Although I did not have any food there the open-air restaurant area is very pleasant. And also you can enjoy a little chat with the staff. Overall I would recommend this resort to anyone. They are reasonably priced, and I will be happy to stay here again if I have a chance to come back to Krabi. (They are building more bungalows now, so I don't know how long they can keep this peaceful atmosphere. You should go there before too many guests swarm in this resort!)

  • Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : I went to one of the spas recommended by the staff at the resort and it was not the cheapest, but I thought that the place was overpriced. Simply not good enough!
