The Cliff Ao Nang Resort Krabi Info
This award winning property is nestled amongst Krabi’s epic mountains and pristine gardens, within walking distance of Ao Nang beach and its clear blue sea. Located in close proximity Nopparathara national park that overlooks the beach, tours can be arranged from within the hotel. The environmentally conscious resort uses o-zone to clean the pool water as opposed to chlorine, giving the feeling of swimming in natural water. The in-house restaurant serves an array of Asian and international cuisine to quench the hunger of guests who have been exploring the delights of Krabi’s vast landscape. Each of the rooms at this boutique resort feature, ‘Chaiya art’ design and natural furnishings enhancing the organic vibe of the place. shower outside is nice
nice breakfast and pool area
rooms are basic and small
damp smell to the place
lots of mosquitos because of the amount of plantation but is thailand so that's life
price is a little on the high side for the quality of the place
we only went for a weekend and we were diving so didn't make much difference to us. The place is basic and the only part that wasn't so good is the smell in the rooms - the damp smell.
Nightlife Tip : The Fishermans bar at the end of Ao Nang is worth going to for a drink and chill out..

This is a very nice hotel. It has only 20 rooms so its a nice size and staff is extremely helpful. Good pool and restaurant. Breakfast each day is really tremendous..made to order. Good location to all of Ao Nang beach area.
The standard room is a little small. We stayed in both a standard room and a suite. The suite was perfect size but the standard room is just barely large enough to be comfortable and it has a completely outdoor bathroom. Stay for a day or two and the outdoor bathroom is fine. Stay for longer and we got tired of having snails/ants all over the shower, etc. However, this was a very minor issue. Hotel was very good.
We would definitely go back to this hotel. The staff was very helpful and we were well taken care of. The location is also very good on the main strip of Au Nang and one can walk to the beach easily in 10 mins. There are tons of restaurants, bars and convenience stores within very close proximity of the hotel. Outside the rooms being a little small, this hotel was very good.

Lovely staff, great pool and views, super food
The Cliff is a wonderful little hotel and the perfect holiday getaway. The staff are always smiling and ever so courteous. The views, rooms and the bathrooms are refreshingly different and the hotel provides a retreat from the tourist trails of Ao Nang. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone going in or around Krabi.
Restaurant Tip : The Are Are Bar is well worth a visit (excellent sea food), and so is Mr Long bar. The food sitting on the street side opposite the dentist is excellent too.
