Food, restaurant ambience, open shower/bath in deluxe room, spa
Beach is a little dirty and water not very clear (could be because of the rainy season)
Although it was raining the entire time we were there, we still had a good break thanks to the fact that we were living in a little gem of a boutique resort. Love that it had only 42 rooms therefore it was never crowded with people.
The deluxe room we booked was so comfortable and I can't say enough about the open air shower & bath. Private yet open (we've had a bad experience with peeping toms in another hotel). The little balcony overlooking the pool with the sedan type bench was great for relaxing the afternoon away with a book.
Also loved the food we had for dinner. Tasted authentic. Ambience of the restaurant was fantastic as well. Great place to start the day with breakfast and end it with sunset for dinner and drinks further into the night next to the beach.
If it weren't for this hotel, our holiday would probably have been very disappointed. We can't control the weather but we can control which hotel we hole up in.

Small, amazing service, beautiful setting, beach, rooms and amazing spa.
Food not as good as it should be... strangely the Western food was better than the Thai !
I have been to this hotel before, about 4 yrs ago. It was exactly as I remembered it - small, intimate but with the operational standards of a large multinational hotel. Excellent all round. The restaurant for dinner was the only part that was a little disappointing. Spa was incredibly professional, beach deserted and clean, rooms beautiful, bathroom very innovative, service always excellent, just wonderful and I'll be returning without a doubt.
Travel tip : Don't miss the Spa!!
