The area is very quite, refreshing and very relax

My stay is not that extravagant however, the location and the view is perfect for people who wants to be refreshed. the beach is not crowded, it's like you own it. The view across is the hong islands and got a superb sunset.. The food is just ok, it's a bit expenssive though this is self explanatory - because the area is quite secluded.

Good, if you lower your expectations

Let's be honest, I paid for this hotel and it was totally worth that. The private beach is amazing, especially after walking down the beach to the other hotels. The room was average, there was only one working outlet (by the bathroom, not anywhere near the bed), all the shelves were dusty, the bed was pretty comfortable, the tv only had 11 stations (not like you'll be in your room to watch it anyway, there wasn't a good lock on the door (disconcerting for a single traveler). The food in the restaurant was just okay, especially because it was overpriced. The services at the hotel were very lacking. The first night I was there I wasn't feeling well, but they had no room service because there was a private function at the restaurant. The spa, which has been touted as full service, was no such thing. There was one woman doing massages on the beach, and she always claimed to be booked. Overall, I would go here because the beach is fantastic and the water nice and warm, but don't expect a luxury resort.

A wonderful break on a beautiful beach

This is our second stay at Tup Kaek, and additional cabins have been built. Still, the resort never seemed crowded. The food is the best along this stretch of beautiful beach. Across the inlet is the madness of Phuket. Tup Kaek is quiet, tropical and laid back and an hour by taxi from anywhere. We spent one evening in Krabi for the night market, but prefer Ao Nang, which we visited last time. Most of the guests are from northern Europe with a few locals (manly from South East Asian) in the mix.

Incredible views, clean rooms

I stayed one night at this resort. The room was not ready when we arrived but only had to wait half an hour however the hotel upgraded our room to a sea view. Staff were friendly, beach was clean and rooms were great.

hotel was in a great location right on the beach. stayed in a newer building and the bathroom was bright and large. pool very old style not inviting to laze around but suitable for young children.

Great location of sunset

The location is close to the beach and quiet. We can run after small crabs along the beach. The resort is rather far from Ao Nang and we cannot walk from the resort to other sightseeings. So we might have 3 meals at the resort. But if you book a day trip to islands, the travel agent is able to pick you up at the resort.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Don't miss watching sunset and day trip to Hong Island.

The location is great, quiet and near the beach. Don't miss the spectacular view during the sunset. However, travelers are not able to walk to other sightseeings. So we might have 3 meals at the resort restaurant.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Don't miss to book a day trip to islands especially Hong Island.
