Good price, friendly staff, great large choice for breakfast, large rooms, with Air con, large bathroom

Slightly worn in areas e.g. some of the paintwork needed attention. It was off the beach by about 10 mins

This is a very nice hotel and we met yup with people who had visited for 13 years, they told us that it was one of the best they had stayed in. The hotel is off the beach by about 10 mins slow walk down hill, this was not a problem to us and we enjoyed the meeting of the local people on the way (especially if they think you need a suit!). The staff were great and the breakfast was one of the best I have had on this holiday, all tastes and choices are catered for, although the tea and coffee sometimes were only two cups (depended who were on duty). The cost from Krabi airport was charged at 900 TB (about £8) but you can easily get a lift from the airport for 600 TB - not a lot of difference though. The locals like all Thi's were wonderful, nothing appears to much bother and when you talk to them you find that they are going thought a really rough time (no tourists). The 4 islands trip was great especially if you like to snorkel, the price varied significantly from the 400 Tb we paid to the 2400 TB we found in a couple of places. We are told that there are better areas/ beaches to go to, but I was well pleased. I am not sure I would return as we generally do not do that - it is a big world that we want to see, but I would recommend it to others

Restaurant Tip : There is a nice place to eat right outside the hotel, but when you want to have a pizza there is a great on at the bottom of the hill, turn right into a 'walkway' and it is there. Mc Donalds do internet for 30Tb (about 60p) per hour if you have a laptop this is cheaper than anywhere

1. Very well-kept renovation with contemporary design that makes one feel the serenity. 2. Good breakfast spread 3. Nice design of hotel room

1. Limited parking lots for guests who drive 2. Many mosquitoes in lobby. Staff should place mosquito coil.

This is a truly affordable stay for a hotel resort of 4*/5*. Room is well renovated and makes one feel very comfortable and cosy. The staff are very friendly and helped us arrange kayaking tours and island-hopping trips. The location of the resort is very accessible with supermarkets, fast-food, massage pa lour, restaurants in close vicinity. Would definitely go back again.

The room - nice bed, shower and bath tub The view from room balcony - beautiful view of the cliff and the beach.

Walking up the stairs - Its really high! From the lobby to your room is about 5 floors!!

The hotel is situated at the famous area of Ao Nang. Everything is near to the hotel, you can walk and don't need to get a tuk tuk. I would suggest that you walk straight to the end of the road and then make a right turn. Keep walking about 1 minute and you will see a restaurant called "EDEN". They serve excellent food and its worth every single penny you pay. Most of the restaurants there has happy hours for cocktails and some even have buy one free one. Just walk around the street and you will be able to see hundreds of different choices.

Shopping Tip : Don't believe the price mentioned. Always bargain and bring the price down by half. Even if you go for massage, make sure you ask for discount. We asked for discount for everything even hair cut and color!

lovely rooms with balcony new pool

stairs stairs stairs

we will now admit that we got this place confused with the Amari Vogue which apparently owned by the same group. Amari is a 5 star. This is 3-4 star. I normally only stay in 5 star so at first was disappointed but i have to stay we really enjoyed our stay here. pool was new and nice. breakfast standard. rooms were lovely but the stairs killed you (and we are quite fit!). Away from the beach therefore away from all the large package tour hotels.

Restaurant Tip : Head down to the beach, turn right and walk until you get to the seafood restaurants that are right on the beach. A row of about 5 and all serving great food.

Great setting, amazing rooms, fabulous breakfast

a long walk to the top floor delux rooms - although can be a pro!

Ao Nang & the surroundings are full of action - plenty to do if you decide to spend a week or so. Vogue resort is a wee walk from the beach side, although it's not too bad! Resort has very lush vegetation, plenty of facilities and so much choices for entertainment and dining just outside it! Staff are great - reception are helpful

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : check out Railay beaches - 20 min boat ride

Great Pool, great location, great staff - very happy and helpful.

Was a little concerned, after reading all of the other reviews, with many mentioning the amount of stairs it took to get to the room. Realistically though, if you are healthy you should be able to make it up all the stairs, cause there really aren't that many. Overall I was very impressed with this hotel, and the extra help that the staff put into helping make our trip everything we hoped for. The location is great, with lots of thai restaurants on the street, but with Western favorites nearby too. Only a 5 minute walk to Ao Nang Beach, which itself wasn't spectacular but so easy to catch a boat from there to the other beaches. I definitely recommend this hotel.

big bed, big tub in the room, very warm interior decor.

so-so breakfast for a four star hotel. I expected a bit more selection. It would have been good for a three star hotel, but for a four star, I expected much better food.

The room was great, but the time restriction on the fitness room and pool limited my use of both. Also, there was a long hike to get to our rooms at the end of the day. IF you have any ailments or difficulties walking, this is not the place for you. However, I did feel quite at home in the room and enjoyed my stay.

Travel tip : Take full advantage of the small convenience store adjacent to the hotel and check out the numerous and very good restaurants across the street.

We stayed in the Honeymoon suit and were very impressed, the bed was especially comfortable. Very quiet and private.

Nothing we did not like about this hotel.

My partner & I wanted to stay in a Authentic Thai style Resort for the last week of our Holiday, Vougue was exactly what we hoped. Great location. Beautiful tropcial Garden setting, Quiet & relaxing with the option of a full days pampering if desired at the day spa or head down the road to catch a long boat over to any of the many surrounding Islands to explore/swim/snorkel etc. wonderful end to our Thailand Trip. We will defintaly return to the Vogue Resort.

Restaurant Tip : Over the road aprox 100 meters to the left of the Vogue is a great restaurant where you can BBQ your own food. it's extremely popular with locals and visiters. A wonderful Thai experiance.

Cozy and intimate hotel. Relaxing and quiet location. No traffic or congestion on Ao Nang.

Loud music can be heard from bars and clubs within area late at night. Expensive taxis. Nothing to do in Krabi town.

No shuttles to airport or to town. Car service was expensive relative to Bangkok and other destinations in Thailand. Hotel was a 1/2 Km walk to beach. The area in front of hotel was not a beach. Restaurants throughout Ao Nang were average but expensive.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Good holiday for couples if you're looking for quiet and relaxation. Try Phi Phi Island for water activities. Avoid eating in many of Ao Nang's overpriced restaurants. Try local eateries instead. Take local buses and Tuk-Tuks to get around town. Taxis(car service) are expensive and not worth the short trips.

Really lovely room, great grounds and swimming pool and helful staff

Lots of stairs, mattress a bit soft

We loved this hotel! The room was amazing and it was worth forking out the extra couple of bucks to get the Honeymoon Deluxe, because you end up getting an amazing view from your balcony, looking over the beach and the cliffs to Railay. Staff were very nice and helpful and the buffet breakfast in the morning was awesome.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Take a long tail boat over to Railay for arguably the most beautiful beach in Thailand.

Good staff service but a little overpriced Guest Rating: 6.7

Excellent Reception/customer service staff Nice good-sized pool

Buffet service breakfast had nothing for vegetarians which makes you feel like an unwanted/second-class customer.

- Reception staff were very helpful and spoke very good English by Thia standards. - Prices of drinks in rooms and restaurants were also pretty reasonable in comparison to others. - Pool was good and wifi internet coverage was good, though speed was very slow (need to pay B 500 for 7 hour user card) - Room was large and in good condition. - Resort is a bit cramped - seems that the architects tried to fit too much into too small a space. - Buffet breakfast was good quality but there was nothing cooked for vegetarians to eat. Even stuff like fried veg was cooked in oyster sauce. There was no soy milk or non-dairy creamer. There was a good salad and choice of fruits etc, but why can they not provide cooked vegetarian food? It's not as if omnivores can't eat it! There was about 8 hot dishes every day but non were vegetarian. I did suggest this to their management team, so hopefully it will get fixed in the future.

Restaurant Tip : Thailandia restaurant about 50 metres down the road on the left, in the direction of the beach, serves excellent tofu based Thai food. Elsewhere, the prices in Ao Nang are getting very expensive - much higher than anywhere else in Thailand.

breakfast

no elevator

The hotel is situated not far from the beach, 5-10 minute walk. It's pretty big with different kinds of rooms. We stayed at Honeymoon deluxe. It's nice, the style is pretty, with huge bath tub and a shower too. The bed was not big, seemed like a regular double. Everything was clean and worked well (except for the bath tub, but the staff fixed it somehow) though we could see that the hotel was pretty old. The view was alright. The thing that bothered us was the sound of building site which would wake us up at 7-8 am. Also the hotel doesn't have an elevator so it might be a problem for some people to go up the fifth floor. Breakfast buffet was REALLY diverse, with wide choice of fruit, bread, muesli, beverages, salads, hot dishes. Anything you'd want! All in all, i'd say it's a bit over-priced, i expected more from the room.

Excellent facilities, staff, food and accommodation.

Lack of lift.

Well documented that there is no lift to the honeymoon suites on the 4th floor but well worth the 65 steps from reception.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Boat trip to Hong Island is probably better than Phi Phi. Longboat from Ao Nang to Poda Island for 300 baht is great value.
