We would stay here again. It is about a 25 minute walk to the main town area, but we had a rental car, so it was no problem. We didn't dine there in the evening. We found good choices in town.
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Close to visiting various hilltribe villages. Go to Rose Tours to find a tour guide if you need one. Very helpful.

Go for coffee before sunset at the top of the hill with the 2 stupas. Good eating at the Salawan River Cafe (near to the Crossroads bar)- very relaxed style with some Burmese and Shan food as well as western and Thai.
- Travel tip : Go the the Chinese village and rent a mule to take you to the border.
