Faded glory - but still good value
Excellent Thai style layout and great swimming pool - hotel in beautiful setting

Booked through Agoda for 1 night de-luxe cost £30. Front of hotel does initially put you off. Poolside room clean, with fridge (free water included) and enormous bed. Air-con ok bit noisy. Bathroom with shower over bath and hot water. Cold water at the basin. Clean towels and separate towels available at the pool.
Breakfast ok - Thai style with western influence - eggs cooked to order.
A very big hotel but only 4 other guests had the pool to ourselves - walking distance to the Lake and Temples.
Restaurant Tip:
Salaween Restaurant at one corner of the lake - excellent food including western dishes - English menu
