The hotel is convieniently located to the tourist sites, has adequate parking, and the staff is very helpful
For this stay, it was during the low season so the dinner buffet was not available.
This was my fourth stay at this establishment and I have never been disappointed. The grounds are well maintained and the rooms are very clean. The food selection in the restaurant is appealing to Thais as well as Westerners. There is a hotel van available to transport people to and from the airport, and shuttle between the town center and the hotel. Upon our return to Maehongson later in the year we will stay there once again

This is a very lovely hotel with a very nice staff, wonderful wood accents and gorgeous landscaping. My room was spacious and beautiful and had a very nice balcony overlooking a courtyard. The service staff was very friendly and courteous, as well as timely. I highly recommend this hotel. I'm glad that I was able to find it on such short notice through Agoda.com
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The walking market, which is only a 6 minute shuttle ride away, features some local arts and crafts, music, and these lovely rice paper lamps that can be released into the sky!

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. A quiet and comfortable get away stay location. Great friendly atmosphere created by the staff. The junior suites are great and well appointed except there is little value if there is nothing to heat food with - a microwave would be useful along with some plates etc. The breakfast is diverse and a good way to start the morning. Great location to start your daily sightseeing from.
Microwave in the junior suites would be an upgrade. Thai food was Ok but could improve. TV is limited not that we used it much.
Great location to start your daily site seeing and visits to the various locations of interest - most are day trips from there. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly and always trying to improve your stay. The junior suites are great value but require a microwave to fully compliment them. Breakfast is diverse and starts your day on the right footing providing a tranquil and nutritious start. In all a very enjoyable stay. Could have stayed longer than 4 nights.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Fly to Mae Hong Son and hire a car there to do your travels and day trips from the hotel. The drive from Chang Mai to MHS was scenic and beautiful but also tedious and lengthy. When you arrive you just want to sleep for a few hours instead of exploring. They boast 1864 curves from MHS to Pai and I can attest to that!!!

I liked order, silence and clean room. Lot of courtesy and even more than necessary. Free Minibus to centre and airport very regular and punctual. This is why that was my second time there.
I did not like some children screaming, jumping and running around even after I complained. This vulgar attitude allowed by parents is common allover the world. Hotel manager should say a word without fear of losing such a guests. Peasants are allover and make more guests-silent-to have a bad impression of what it could have been a nice holiday. It is time to be not afraid (like me) of reminding people their social obligations and forget the right to disturb the others.
Why I did not receive the VOUCHER for my reservation at Royal Paradise in Phuket as I did for Tara Imperial in Mae Hon Son?
For the future you should think seriously of not charging in advance breakfast (when someone does not have it in the morning) and oblige to spend money for Gala Dinner when someone has different plans for the evening.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The Long Neck villages and the Catholic Churches.

A quiet town with plenty of restaurants and restricted nightlife so its a peaceful retreat.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Excellent waterfalls in the area and the main temple is very interesting with great views if not cloudy.

We would stay here again. It is about a 25 minute walk to the main town area, but we had a rental car, so it was no problem. We didn't dine there in the evening. We found good choices in town.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Close to visiting various hilltribe villages. Go to Rose Tours to find a tour guide if you need one. Very helpful.

Go for coffee before sunset at the top of the hill with the 2 stupas. Good eating at the Salawan River Cafe (near to the Crossroads bar)- very relaxed style with some Burmese and Shan food as well as western and Thai.
Travel tip : Go the the Chinese village and rent a mule to take you to the border.

This is just a welcome to the airport.
I do not feel very clean. Quite a breakfast. May not help.
Mae Hong Son and the purpose is not only one, some victims may have no choice. Breakfast, etc. Clean the place to stay. It will take me at the night market and free, and so good, I feel like that.
