The son of the owner was very helpful in advising us where to go and where not to go during this time of the year. We also loved the breakfast, especially the local treats (rice and corn wrapped in banana leaves). The rooms were all furnished very tastefully with dark wooden furniture and big comfy beds. One thing that did not bother us but might be perceived negatively was the fact that the hotel garden was not taken care of very neatly. We would most definitely recommend this hotel, we have a lovely memory of our stay in Mae Hong Song!
