Couples Ireland, April 17, 2012	Great location, nice hotel Location 7.3 nice hotel, located down a quiet side road only a few minutes walk from all the action of pai without being disturbed by it. you can hear some music from across the river as the late bars are closeby, but nothing too major. the one thing i didn't like was that the main doors did not close fully when you went out - you used a padlock and they were securely closed but ajar. also, the door to the balcony closes with only a flimsy lock and not fully, so if anyone else is on the balcony you lose your privacy as it feels very open. on our last night some girls had a massive fight in the hotel and no member of staff asked them to be quiet - it lasted for around 10 minutes. you can rent mopeds from reception - we advise you to try them out in the area first as one of our bikes failed to start quite quickly and the owner realised the battery was dead. we were lucky we were still practising our driving nearby.

Families with young children Thailand, April 12, 2012	Nice guesthouse with natural atmosphere \ Thai architecture and good & service mind staff & owner 8.3 We impressed them since follow up my booking and that they expressed good service by giving us compimentary round trip pick up. And I like very much their Thai building style with good layout and having the same & long terrace between rooms and still felt safe. Also the surrounding guesthouse atmosphere is very natural with plenty of trees and living beside the river. And the guethouse can provide us the motorcycle for rental with cheap price and needed only ID copy; no need for a lot of money to guarantee as ever experienced. all are good that we will come back to stay. Nightlife Tip: Buffalo pub and restauranrt with living band in the opposite road at the entrace of Baan Tawan Guest house, the thai owner is nice and good entertainer.

Couples Australia, April 08, 2012	Good location , great hotel the girl at the reception desk was so helpful 8.3 this hotel took us a while to find as it is down a small lane opposite the local libarary. the girl at the reception desk was so great and helpful ( she even bought a umbrella out to our car mid a heavy downpour). the rooms were not flash but were clean and comfortable. they have both a/c and a fan which work well together to cool the room although it it is situated in a shady and very nice garden, (and being a landscape designer i am quite critical of gardens ). it is close to the pai river as well if you need to go for a stroll. the room we had had a great veranda with comfy chairs just to work on the computer as well as just to relax and avoid thinking and transmute into nothingness. Restaurant Tip: The hotel is 5 minutes, or less, away from the main shopping and restaurant area of Pai. Some great and inexpensive food can be found there.

Nice view of Pai river. I love the porch where I was welcomed every morning with the scent of jasmine. In fact, we didn't stay in Deluxe Cottage, they upgraded the room that I couldn't remember the name.

Couples Australia, March 26, 2012	Lush Guesthouse great sized rooms, balcony, surrounded by trees, right distance from main street 7.3 We stayed in Baan Tawan for 4 nights and loved it. we had an awesome sized room with a balcony looking over the lush green garden. The staff were lovely and helpful but didnt clean our room everyday or re-stock he water etc, they just hung it all on the door. a bit strange but no big deal! The bathroom was really good- big and clean- with a hot shower. Only down pointers would be the fact that the bed and pillows were pretty lumpy and uncomfortable and the sheets were pretty old and worn. We visited in the off season so the kitchen was nearly never open. Restaurant Tip: We skipped the breakfast at the guesthouse (the kitchen never seemed open anyway...) and went to the Witching Well just up the main street. Great food. There are actally lots of good food places in Pai.

The bathroom was very good. 9 it's a very good hotel which reflects its money. good room any great location. almost everyone knows where the hotel is located. the main problem we had with the room is that the door of the room is locked by a pretty simple lock and there is no safe in the room. so if u have valuable things it might be a problem. the price is a bit high for other hotels around so we recommend to check it. Hotel Feature Tip: The hotel is located near to a street fullof nice bars and restorunts.Witching will and ting tong bar are very nice!

The rooms were very clean and nice. They had a fan and air conditioning which is a must have for me. We were minutes from the shops, food, and nightlife. The sit seeing was not very far to see as well. It was a great stay :) An all around great stay!!!!!!!! Will be back
