A-One Cruise hotel Pattaya

We were totally satisfied with every aspect of this beach front hotel. It was more than we expected-with a name like A-one, we expected an overpriced beach hotel- and we were given an upgrade when we arrived one day earlier than originally planned. They upgraded us to a deluxe room with a sea view. That was a great deal and set the tone for our week there.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The hotel is located right by the beach. The staff is very accommodating

What a great looking place
location, shape of a cruise ship, well laid out poolside restaurants

This was our first choice for our first trip to the seaside city of Pattaya. Our travels put us in Pattaya one day ahead of schedule. So we booked online another Superior type room. But, when we presented the voucher, there were no more rooms of that type available so they upgraded us to a Deluxe,sea view room at no extra cost. The difference in value was over $100 and started our stay with a very good feeling toward the hotel.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Since this hotel is built in the shape of a cruise ship and is located right on the beach in the heart of the nightlife, it really stands out from other box shaped hotels.

what can i say!! 100% satisfed staying in this hotel. nice building (looks like cruise ship), infront of pattaya beach, near from walking street. good service, great restourant (i love their yoghourt and orange juice for breakfast!).

must visit tiffany or alcatraz show, eating durian bangkok @ suphatraland rayong province (2hour drive by rent motorclye)

great hotel close to beach and easy to get around. Great place to relax. Staff was fantastic well spoken and very polite. We enjoyed or time that we had there.
Nightlife Tip:
Walking street is the place to be great food if your looking for seafood and water views. huge night clubs and great big bars. very enjoyably.

The hotel was in a good location, close enough to the main busy area but still quiet. Staff were very attentive. The hotel was very clean and had a large beautiful swimming area. The buffet breakfast included with our room was fantastic. There was plenty of variety and good quality.

We stayed at this hotel for a friends wedding. The couple were having a Muslim wedding so all the food was halal. It was excellent and the staff were very helpful to the bride and groom on the day. However, we arrived well after check in time but our room wasn't ready and we had to wait at least 45 mins before we could get into our room that the maid was still cleaning. We onlt just made it in time for the wedding!!

We stayed here for a wedding. It is a good hotel, with good facilities in the nicer (northern) end of Pattaya. The facilities of the pool and gym were good and if you like the fact that this hotel is shaped like a boat, you will like all the finishing touches e.g. port hole mirror, staff uniforms. The breakfast is very good with a good selection of western and other foods with decent bacon (often difficult to get in Thailand!)
Restaurant Tip:
Gullivers pub just along beach road (heading north) is decent

Had a lovely weekend at this hotel. We didn't make use of all of the facilities, but had a look around. The gym was much better than a lot of other hotels that we have stayed in and the pools, though not huge, are nice.
Didn't have breakfast at the hotel, because there are a lot of other options to be had in Bangkok, but heard from a couple of friends who were also staying that it was pretty good. A buffet, so there was more than enough.
Nice place, and would recommend it to others. Also, it is away from the other end of the Beach Road where Walking Street is, so you can walk around the hotel without hearing the infamous 'Handsome man, where you go?'. And you can always walk in that direction if your ego is in need of a boost! (and I did say ego).
Restaurant Tip:
A pub rather than a restaurant, but the Pig and Whistle halfway up Soi 7 has a good English breakfast. But, if you happen to walk up Soi 7 in the afternoon or later then brace yourselves for the calls of the 'sirens' from the bars either side of the Soi. Now I know how a woman feels walking past a building site in the UK!!!

Nice nautically themed hotel

Stayed here for a friend's wedding reception held at the hotel. The hotel treated us all really well. It's at the far end of Beach Road from Walking St (which is no bad thing).
The rooms were clean and considerably better (and larger) than the far more expensive Hard Rock Hotel (which only has the large pool going in it's favour).
Didn't eat in the restaurant, so not sure what the food is like or the price.
Two pools to choose from. Both nice.
Nightlife Tip:
Gullivers bar is only a few doors up Beach Road from the hotel. A sports bar with loads of Prem/Champ games on live and with good food and friendly staff.
