Old, needs to be renovated
Family hotel, friendly staffs, foods and fruits are fresh, everybody is polite, convenience location. But the renovation is quiet old, need to change style for the accessories, bath rooms
conditions, furnitures, and the TV should make it
modern n update..
Breakfast provide good service, need to provide more staffs for servicing time. But the foods of breakfast does not have much variety.

Everything was the very best in this Hotel...cant find anything to complain about or any eventually week areas. The service was outstanding, everytime you pass anyone of the staff you got a smile and a greeting.Highly recommendable for anyone to stay here...
Very good value for the money,i have stayed in many hotels in europe because i am a long distance bus driver, and i haven't stayed at a better hotel anywhere in Europe.Location is good.Staff performance is outstanding, the hotel condition is at very high standard. The beds and the comfort in the room talks for it selves.Since we only ate breakfast i can only tell there was a very big variety, and very high class of everything in the breakfast area.
Nightlife Tip : Bamboo Dancing,just 50 m left where Walking street begins.....very nice music,very nice dancing etc,etc...

Often listed as 4 star, but several aspects of A1 are more like a 5 star experience.
UNIQUE - Luxury Cruise Ship design & feel.
EXCELLENT - Customer service from the bell hops, to front desk, restaurant staff, etc.
DELICIOUS - Free Breakfast, but also some truly gourmet menu selections at a reasonable price (try the dinner buffet (WOW!!).
GREAT LOCATION: A1 really shines with it's Ideal and "Quiet" beach front location on the far northern end of the Pattaya Beach Road.
GREAT AMENITIES - The resort is huge and has several uniquely themed lounges with live performances, billiards halls, restaurants and 3 Pools, so you could spend days "on the ship" without needing to venture out into the busy town for anything.
NO problems during our stay. English not so good with some of the service level staff, but they are polite and make every effort to accommodate your needs. Hey, if you are traveling to another country for extended period, have the courtesy to learn the basics of their language to make a more enjoyable experience.
The look & feel of A1s buildings, lounges, décor, staff uniforms, etc. are just like a luxury cruise ship. The rooms are really comfortable and clean (We stayed in Deluxe Main Wing suite, but toured all the other rooms/suites). Unlike some other "so called" resorts we've stayed at in Thailand over the years, A1 goes above and beyond to make a memorable experience. The resort is walking distance to all the night life stomps and shopping, but on a quiet street end (great luxurious getaway).
We'll be back to stay at A1 on our yearly Thailand vacation.
Shopping Tip : Walking distance from the HUGE well known shopping mall called "Big C". Better prices on clothes & gifts then dealing with those fast talking street vendors.
Scuba/Snorkeling tours and water activities available right in front of resort on the beach across the street.

big and clean room, beautiful design hotel
very poor front conter service, bad communication
The hotel front counter service is bad with very poor command of english. The staff also seems to be very impatient with guest and quite rude. the rooms are big and clean with the city view.facilities like karaoke room, lounge, coffee house and swimming pool are provided. for the price that we pay, i will say just at par.

Nice breakfast, big room.
Bad English speaking staff.
I arrived during the Loy Krathong festival and its quite busy since the hotel is situated in front of the beach. The walking street is just abt 1 km away and there is a lot of shopping arcade just around the hotel. Rooms are clean and quite a big size. Overall it is worth the money considering this place always crowded with tourists.

Location wise it's very convenient.
Rooms are quite old, especially in the bathroom. Buffet has few variety of food.
Only Suite or special room have ocean view, which is different with what we expected and read from the hotel descriptions. We pay more for the Superior Main Wing hoping to get a panoramic sea view as mentioned in the hotel offer. The fact is different as the hotel staffs mentioned that all Superior does not have ocean view. Luckily they offer to have ocean view but in twin bed. Still better than nothing. In overall, it is just a basic and standard hotel.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : For the same value of money, better to take other hotels nearby.

It is a thematic hotel concepts like a cruise ship. The exterior is ok but needs a touch up in the room interior.
Need to work on the room interior.
For those who has never been in the cruise, the hotel atmosphere is a bit like being in the ship. The breakfast is quite standard and nothing special although there is a section for the vegetarian. If you plan to stay more than 2 nights, expect a boring breakfast since no change in the menu. The bathroom size is too small for this price range. Location is not too bad near within the tourist area. You can jump on the big tuk-tuk (public small bus)at anytime to go around the area for a flat fee of 20BHT per trip regardless the distance. Overall it is a not bad hotel to stay in Pattaya.

Good location-just on the beach.
Hotel was good and staff was also very courteous. Room space was also enough. Buffet breakfast was excellent. Location of the hotel at Pattaya Beach was very approachable for all attractions.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Avoid Alcazer show, this was hopeless.

Conveniently located and comfortable
The location is just super... a stones throw from everything including the walking street. The rooms are okay, nothing great but comfortable considering a hotel of its class. There is a drycleaner and liquor shop across the road and the spa is nice. All in all its good value for money.
Restaurant Tip : For avid beer drinkers Hopf is just a hop away. The brew is great and the band is super.

Located in front of the beach.
Food is not so tasty. Not much selection at buffet in morning and evening. Room service food is also not tasty.
Must be 4 stars hotel, maybe ten years back. It's better to renovate the facility now to keep it 4 stars. It's ok for more discounted price, though. Swimming Pool was very nice to enjoy, but better to close at 7PM, not 6PM. Wireless Internet for free of charge at lobby is fine, but better for free of charge at staying room too.
