best hotel in pattaya
Freindly staff, great, big and clean rooms, lots of activities, best resort ever
10
i visit pattaya twice a year and i have stayed at the top rated hotels. there is no hotel in pattaya that can compete with amari, it’s fabulous and the staff are so friendly and helpful. during our recent visit in july, we booked 2 rooms for 8 nights and for all nights we were upgraded to the ocean tower rooms, trust me, if amari has rooms which are more superior they will upgrade you. the food is great at the essence restaurant. there is also a 5* restaurant called mantra which belongs to amari. it has a variety of good food.
amari has two swimming pools which are clean and have a cozy feeling to them. if you stay in amari, you can book a room in the garden wing or the ocean tower, so if you prefer to stay in a room with a thai nature feeling then stay in the garden wing, but if you prefer a room with a sea view then stay at the ocean tower. there are other great hotels in pattaya, but amari is the best as shops are nearby, the beach is right outside, there are great cheap first class restaurants nearby which belong to the hotel. also, there are great places within the hotel for children such as an activities centre especially designed for children from the age of 2- 12. furthermore, there is a business centre with free internet access and they also have a free dvd rental system. this is truly a magnificent place and the only other hotel i can think of which can compete is burj al arab in dubai. i will be back at this paradise resort in december!
Restaurant Tip:
There are many restaurants in Pattaya which will cost around for a full meal for one person, Try the Mantra restaurant which belongs to Amari, its cheap and its truly one of the best restaurants I have eaten at. If you go to Pattaya, you have to be insane not to go to Mantra!

Lovely hotel and exellent service.
8.7
When we arrived to hotel, the room we had ordered was not ready. They had many guests, and sheckout took time. After waiting nearly one hour, we started to be impatient. We knew that they had problem with all people, and the staff came to explain that. We asked if we could upgrade our room because we had to wait, and after 10 more minute, we had deluxe room without extra cost. What can I say, exellent service. Had two wonderfull days there. Will go back for sure.

Great hotel with very nice and polite staff! Perfectly situated in for those who want to live in Pataya but still not want to stay in the crowded bar areas.
The kids play room is fantastic! Here you can leave the kids with qualified staff if you want some private time. I will use this hotel again for sure!!

The staffs are so friendly with service minds
Atmosphere around the hotel
8
the hotel is located in the center spot of north pattaya. it's easy for walking around and nearby the big shopping mall (central pattaya). the atmosphere around the hotel is good, this is the place for a visitor who wanna take a rest with fresh air. the staffs are friendly with service mind. they also provided some multi-nation staffs like japanese for the non-thai visitor. room is clean enough and not too small, but quite old for the resort style. there are the multi-nation foods for breakfast buffet, but they are limited. all of these, this is the place that i'm willing to come back if i visit pattaya next time

Great lobby and nice swimming pool
8.3
i arrived there at 3pm. the lobby has a lot of people, some checked in and some checked out but i felt relax and could wait even though it took time. because of a big lobby and great service. at this time i forgot to request a none smoking room but this's not my first time here and i went there with my little girl (always) but the smell of cigaret made me thought why the hotel's not record me be a repeat quest who always travel with kid...it's so bad.
Hotel Feature Tip:
room service is great good price good quality and quantity

Central and nice hotel for family's
8
This was an ok hotel central in Pattaya. Walking distance to shopping and the beach, although we were disappointed about the beach in Pattaya.
We were also disappointed when we arrived at the hotel. We had looked at several nice photos of this hotel on the website and booked ourselves 4 superior rooms. When we checked in we found out that the hotel consists of two separate buildings -1 The new Tower Hotel and 2 The old Amari (reminds me of an American Motel). it turned out that the superior rooms was in the old hotel. We got rooms in the 3rd floor and the hotel did not have elevator. When the disappointment had subsided we enjoyed the stay. The breakfast was very good.

Nice Hotel but stay on the newer section
7.7
i did not know there were 2 sections for the hotel. the old section has only 3 floors but we had to take stairs to our room on the 3rd floor. there is no elevator. also the hallways were extremely hot with no air con. checking out took over 40 minutes they system they use in my opinon could be better. we had to change to another room due to our room being infested with ants.

Quiet, central, nice pool
8.3
We only stayed one short night. The hotel was clean, the rooms nice and it had a nice pool.
Nightlife Tip:
Pattaya is known for you it's night life. It is close to Beach Road and Walking street, so it has a good location.

it was a pleasant stay and had a blast during our stay in amari orchid hotel pattaya. the staff is good and the rooms are big enough for comfort stay . the stay we had in this property is unforgettable. the best located hotel with all the modern facilities and yes not to forget the swimming pool. the price tag is also very good, ( last week i was in mussoorie felt i was paying much more if one compare it with hotel amari, pattaya, u get one star rated property in india as compare to amari stay which is 4 star rated property. i promise to stay there whenever i m in pattaya. once again i thank the staff of hotel amari orchid for the warm welcome on our arrival on 14th july 2011.
