High quality, large room, reasonably good location Expensive food, no breakfast included, expensive internet, no direct access to beach, poor design forces you to walk through public areas to reach pool. The Amari is a perfectly nice hotel with good rooms and good staff. But like many very large hotels it lacks charm and personality. Also, everything from breakfast to internet service comes with a hefty charge, in many cases no different than at any similar hotel anywhere in the world. Maybe that is to be expected, but very few hotels in Thailand, the Amari included, have the fine polish to justify world class prices for all amenities.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The beach just north of the hotel is better than the one in front of it. Don't tell the red trucks that you are going to the Amari or they will quote you five times the going rate. Instead ask for Soi 1.

Gorgeous lobby, good location Room furniture needs a refreshment and so does bathroom. Breakfast just fair, below the standard of other 4 star hotels in Thailand A bit of disappointment, upon my announced late arrival, only one room, perhaps the worst one was left. At reception they said "Sorry we are fully booked tonight". After a firm complaint, they "found" a much better room for me. A "good" example of what customer service has not to be.

Nice poolside, great service thoughout, well spoken english counter staff, checked out within 10mins & fantastic food from room service as well as a good variety of breakfast. Should provide more drinking water instead of two bottle to a room. Excellent pool bar located at their 2m pool and a total of 3 pools, one more for kids and the other one has a longer stretch. I had the same supper every night and their tom yum soup and chicken fried rice from room service was simply superb. The counter staff were friendly and speaks good english and i have no difficulties speaking to room service as well.

Nice pools and garden, beautiful rooms, good location. Was disappointed with food No info in room for room service menu or numbers to call - had to get a maid to call down to reception when we checked out. WOuld definitely stay here again the price was very good at the time we stayed too

Large outside areas for sitting and relaxing. Large lobby area with comfortable chairs. No elevators for 3 story buildings. This hotel in Pattaya is in a great location next to the sea at the north end of Pattaya. It has a large outdoor area with a very nice swimming pool with comfortable deck chairs. There are other areas where you can sit that are not next to the pool. The lobby is large and comfortable. The breakfast was ok but it was a bit crowded.
Nightlife Tip : Take the baht bus to walking street or the new Central Festival Mall.

Location, Room Layout and service. Noise from construction next door at Holiday Inn. We found all of the Amari staff to be very helpful
and courteous. We appreciated the upgrade given to
us. We liked the location very much because it is
close to everywhere and yet once you are inside
the hotel it felt like you were somewhere else.
The pools were great and so were the grounds
around the pool.
Hotel Feature Tip : We found the pools to be one of the best features
of the hotel.

near the beach, far away from the crowed red lights area. rooms are clean and large size. Balcony is too small, if two people seat there it will be full. Room windows not clean, thus when you look out the view from room it's kind blur. We stayed only one night at the hotel, overall everything was ok. Staff was nice and always willing to help. Since the hotel is newly built, all amenities are good. Food at restaurants kind over price, there are many other restaurants outside street offer better meals at valuable price. The hotel is offer evening turn down services which is very nice. Overall, I wouldn't rate this hotel as a 5 star, it can only be 4 star. Recommend for family travels!
Shopping Tip : The newly opened Central Plaza is about 5 minutes walking distance from hotel. Or you can just jump on any of the taxi in front hotel to go there, it only cost 10 baht.

The place is new and modern. The rooms are spacious and the design is nice! The place has frequent electricity blackouts, i stayed here a few times and so far i experienced it twice. The hotel is nice, the staff is average, the electricity is bad! There was a blackout in the morning and i was preparing for work! Had to make do without electricity...no apology or whatsoever.

Room atmosphere Swimming pool Location Good location for both beach and town cwnter. Room atmosphere of tower wing is excellent for relax. Swimming pool has excellent atmosphere, too. I also enjoyed food at breakfast.

Room atmosphere Facilities Altitude of sfaffs Amaro Orchid makes hotel guests really relaxed in tropical mood. Ocean tower is excellent at room atmosphere. Swimming pool and other facilities are also excellent. Location is also very good. It is really good foe both vacation and business.

location,breakfast,pool,nice, friendly and fluent in english staff customers mainly from russia,the air cond sistem is infected with mould The hotel is the one of the best in Pattya.The space and atmosphere is excellent,brekfast and room is also.The garden wing rooms are a little bit old decorated, but acceptable.Possible to open the windovs ,its lead to fresh nights in room, without sour-throath because air condition system. The tower rooms are much more trendy.

staff so friendly the room was a bit small also bath room The hotel was still new. lobby, building, room are in good design. The location was very good, the hotel was just opposite to the beach and also not far to go to town. All the staff i've met so nice and friendly
I extended my stay for one more night and for sure i will come back again for my next trip in Pattaya.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : opposite the hotel, you can find some speed boat to take you to KohLarn(Larn Island)the beach there was a lot better, very clean, lots of fishes and corals. Cost for the speed boat for Thai people are around 1800-2000฿ very worth to go there.
One big shopping center, Central Festival Pattaya just open, lots of thing to do there.

We did not stay in the tower but in the older part of Amari witch we liked verry much because of the Thai Style. The tower is more modern but verry beautiful. As always the service was excellent they are like always verry friendly.
The room was nice and clean and we got spoiled with fruit every day.
The pool is great enough space for everybody and great beds.
Over all we did have a good time in this hotel.

Beautiful garden and great swimming pool. The service is excellent, and it smells good in the hotel. Breakfast is excellent. They provide good service at the pool, and the pool towel are good. Many family spend their vacation. Location is also good, you can easily take a songtaw to go to the shopping mall. I stayed in a superior garden wing room. Room is well maintained, good shower but the water would split out. Ask for a room which faces the pool would be better.

friendly stuff, clean rooms pretty expensive internet: more than 200 Bahts per hour which cannot be split in portions during the day. I stayed in a garden wing superior room for a week. There is no thing I disliked about the hotel. It is very conveniently situated near the beach, there are plenty of restaraunts near there. I would definitely recommend Fuji restaurant which is situated near the Tiffany's show building. My brother stayed in the Ocean Tower Deluxe room. If you stay in any other room, just ask someone at the front desk to have a look at the Ocean Deluxe room, and you will probably upgrade your room to the Ocean Deluxe. The view from it is simply awesome.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : There are probably the cheapest waterbikes in Pattaya on the beach near the hotel. You can get a waterbike for 30 minutes just for 500 Baht if you bargain. In South Pattaya they usually ask for at least 1000 Baht per 30 minutes.
