Nice hotel, Great location, great pools. This hotel is great. Breakfast is good; get there before 9:30 as they stop restocking it. Pools are fantastic. There is construction of wing #3 that is to be completed by November. Most of the major work is done, now its all finish work. There is some noise, not to much though. Security is a lil lack as I sent one girl packing one night and she stalked me the next. She was knocking at my door.... Ya a bit freaky, but I walked her downstairs and escorted her out with the new girl non the wiser :)
Nightlife Tip : Quickest way to Walking street is to; make a left out of the lobby, walk down Soi, cross 2nd road and cut through Mikes Shopping Mall and onto Beach Rd, catch the Baht bus.....Its like a 5 minute stroll, plus you can look at the cuties at the cosmetic counter :-)

The location of Hotel is very good, the central of the 2nd road, near MIKE, about walking 5 minutes to Royal Garden, very clean Hotel

Good location, clean, lovely rooms,excellent facilities, great staff Why do repeat visitirs have to pay 1,00 Baht refundable cover charge? This is the 5th time I've stayed at the Areca - it really is an excellent place to stay. It is situated close to Soi Bukhao and Pattaya 2nd Road so is close enough to the beach which is about 10 minutes away. The Hotel location is on busy Soi 13 and has brilliant rooms, two lovely swimming pools, a good gym and lovely restaurant. The staff throughout the hotel are friendly and helpful - nothing is too much trouble for them. I really is a feel good place to stay in Pattaya and I would rate this hotel in the top 5 places to stay.There is a great bar outside the hotel and again the bar staff are friendly and helpful. I would always want to stay here when visiting Pattaya but it is often fully booked in most seasons which is a testament to it's excellent reputation & standing. I would like to tell you something bad about this hotel so that I could always get a room there - but I have nothing but good to say about this excellent place. It is highly recommended
Nightlife Tip : Being centrally located, you can easily access the nightlife/restaurants of Soi Bukhao and 2nd Road. It is very eay to get transport to Walking Street if you wish or a 15 minute walk to the lively Soi 7/8 areas
