I have visited this hotel several times and know it well.
The building itself is fairly old and this shows. It is well maintained, however and is kept clean.
The internet facility is usually just about acceptable, but on this occasion it was offline for the entire three days. A considerable irritation and I had the impression they simply hadn't bothered calling in anyone to fix the problem.
The restaurants were the same as ever. The restaurant inside the hotel provides good staple food, and a choice of Western or Thai food.
Overall still a satisfactory
Restaurant Tip:
glue your cups and glasses to the table.

Good Location
Quiet, Par 3 golf right there
7
A great location away from Pattaya and Jomtien madness. Nice little Par 3 golf right there. The resturants have serious problems. We tried the Clifftop Seafood Pavilion. On a holiday Sunday night, there were 3 tables occupied. The food was very slow coming (over an hour) and was not fresh. We paid bill and left to eat in Jomtien.
Restaurant Tip:
Try Rim Taley resturant on Jomtien Beach Rd. Get the grilled prawns.

Asia Pattaya Beach Hotel
Isolated location, close enough to the chaos of the night life but far enough away to enjoy peaceful days on the beach and the beautiful gardens of the hotel.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel, I found it to be very relaxing. The staff were very pleasant, in particular the lady who sells ice cream by the pool was just lovely! I would reccommend the hotel to friends and would return should I visit Pattaya again.

A Grand Hotel Befitting It's Name.
Neat and Orderly. Location by the Beach is remarkable.

Everything was perfect.
I believe it is the season of low traffic and the recent Red Shirt uprising, the guest population was quite low. I pray it doesn't discourage the proprietors of the Hotel.
I had been to Pattaya over half a dozen times in the past 4 years Asia Pattaya Hotel remains my best - in all respects. My Companion will visit Pattaya again - just because of Asia Pattaya Beach Hotel.
Restaurant Tip:
A nearby restaurant Cabbages and Carrots (Something like that) is worth a visit for one dinner.

Asia Pattaya
Set away from the tourist area
8.3
This is not a modern hotel which is evident from the condition of the building, but it is well maintained and clean. It just isn't as new as, say, the Marriott.
There is a secluded beach area with a few reasonable beer bars and this is popular with groups of regular tourists who visit the hotel. It is too far away from the regular beach/tourist area to attract the crowd from the girlie bars.
The restaurant inside the hotel has a good selection of western and Thai food, and the quality is superb. The clifftop seafood restaurant is a good location for evening meals at sunset.
Can be a tad crowded on Thai holidays since the price is competitive, even for the local people.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Floodlit golf until midnight.

This hotel is situated away from the main tourist district with its own golf course and private beach. There are several good restaurants, and especially a seafood restaurant in hotel grounds with a splendid view. The well-known Cabbages and Condoms restaurant is close by. The hotel also has its own taxi service so guests are not "stranded". Special requests are clearly noted and catered for insofar as is possible. Good value for money in my opinion. I have visited this hotel on several occasions and have never had issues with staff honesty/integrity.

Rooms with a view
Spectacular sunset views
Good food
Quiet
8.3
The Asia hotel is situated away from the main shopping and tourist centres, but benefits from very good restaurants in house and nearby, including some good bars serving mainstream beers and entirely reasonable food on the nearby secluded beach.
The small golf course is moderately popular, the staff are friendly, reliable and trustworthy. The maid service is efficient and reliable.
The hotel itself is one of the polder ones in Pattaya and shows clear signs of wear, but it is clean and good value for money.
Restaurant Tip:
The clifftop seafood restaurant is superb but wil lrequire a day's notice to buy some items from the local market. Visit when you arrive to order what you want and then return later for the meal.

Nice view
The view, the pool, the friendly staff.
7.7
There is a nice beach right below the hotel, and a lovely pool with a swim-up bar also behind the hotel, It is very clean and comfortable, and the elevators have no wait time at all, which is a refreshing change from other places. I would visit again for certain.
Shopping Tip:
The street food nearby is overpriced. Get away from the hotel a ways to dine cheaply.

Far from the madding crowd
Nice location far from the noise and kitch of walking street
8.3
We enjoyed great Ocean Views and a nice celan pool with a swim up bar, It is right on the Ocean, and there is a private walk to the beach. The beach is very pleasent compared to Pattaya Beach and Jomtiem Beach, as it is less crowded and less commercial. The price is a little higher than some lesser places, but it is well worth it. There is a nice little Par 3 golf course adjacent to the hotel.
Nightlife Tip:
Walking Street must be seen at least once in a lifetime
