Convenient hotel with very nice rooms

I've stayed here before and find the location hard to beat. next door to the mall, across the street from the beach, and 3 minutes from Walking Street, this hotel is the most convenient place I've found in Pattaya. There's a fair bit of street noise in the evening, but that's true most places in this town. The breakfast is good, not super special, but the dining area itself boasts lovely views of the beach and water. I'll stay again.

Unless you are on a very tight budget, pay a bit more for the Deluxe rooms. There is a big difference for not too much money. More importantly if you intend to sleep at all, check with the Hotel before booking to see if the rooster problem is still on-going. Why there would be a rooster making a 'cock-a-doodle-doo' sound in the centre of Pattaya I cannot tell you, but I can tell you it is real. It starts at about 04.00hrs and you'd think the thing was in the room with you! This continued for many hours, at least 'till 08.00hrs. There was a queue of people complaining at Reception and asking for room changes. I do not know how many managed it, but I for one did. The staff treated it like it was just part of the daily routine for them.
Shopping Tip:
Royal Garden Plaza mall is just steps away, and Central Plaza, another huge mall is an easy walk.

Great location in the middle of Pattaya
Rooms are large and bright. Balcony is nice with table and chairs.

There are many small bars and restaurants close by. The hotel is quiet even though it is in the center of the city.
Restaurant Tip:
Coffee Club located in the rear of the nearby shopping mall opens at 7:30am for breakfast though the rest of the mall does not open until 11am.

Interiors were horrible... actually, there was no interior except one picture. Furnitures were so old and dirty. Spiders in the closets so that I could not hang my clothes in the closet but just left in my luggage. Bathroom was smell like sewer... (must have some plumbing problem). No fan in the bathroom... (imagine after using toilet & shower). Anyway, I will not choose Baywalk Residence never again.
Nightlife Tip:
Walking Street is only 300 meters away.

good place to stay if you are planning to spend your days outside the hotel. privacy guaranteed. rooms were satisfactory, with good ac control. but limited choice for breakfast buffet. staff were not helpful for advice on sightseeing.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Beware of the security guard outside the hotel. He tries to set you up for taxi rides that costs a fortune, compared to the other taxis you can get if you just walk a few seconds to the road.

outstanding hotel for the price and location....The internet is hard wire, 4 stations in the lobby. The pool on the rooftop is a great getaway but it close a bit early. Rooms- house keeping is only done once a day so if you're into the nightlife action and have a lot of guest in rotation then use the room wisely. Overall a great hotel for the price and the action is all over the place from the time you're in the lobby.
Nightlife Tip:
only 5 minute walk to the action...great hotel and friendly staff.

this hotel has only the necessary facilities to stay without having any problem. comfortable room and toilet with bath tub no shower.good price of rooms and best central point for shopping, nightlife. also a middle size swimming pool on last floor is waiting for u for swimming from morning 7am until 9pm.
i enjoyed my staying there as it was one of the best central point that connects everything near u and can go on foot every time whenever you want to anywhere.
Nightlife Tip:
Go to walking street on foot its about 3-5min from the hotel and see all the bars-clubs there.

the rooms, bathroom and bed are very good. it can however be some noice from the surrending bars until 2 am. refreshing pool on the roof. good staff performance, i have nothing to complain about!
