Great locationf - overall a good hotel
Location is great as it is a couple minutes away from the nightlife of Walking Street, staff are helpful

Location was great. Main issue however was the construction going on right above our room. This happened even on weekends and ended each day at 5pm. If you're after a hotel close enough to the nightlife - yet far enough to be away from the dirty side of it all - this place is great

This is a nice hotel with a great location.
Nice value, good location, clean room

Overall I was quite happy with my stay at the Baywalk Residence. It is very close to everything, sitting between beach road and second road.
Shopping Tip:
This hotel is located near all kinds of shopping and near 24 hour fast food.

Warm hotel in the heart of Walking street!

Although we were fooled by the tuktuk driver for 200Bt to reach this destination from the bus stop, we were more than happy to have such a pleasant hotel for our stay. The staff was warm and helpful, given the condition that we didnt know Thai language and many locals do not know English.The staff helped us with writing down all sightseeing locations names in Thai language(BIG HELP or you might just be lost). However the biggest forte of this hotel is its location... right in the heart of Walking Street... the place where all the action is!!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Beware of the tuktuk/taxis who operate without meter.... they are out there to loot you outright... check with hotel staff or tourist information centre about the rates for a destination before bargaining for one.

Big room and value for money

Baywalk residence is very conveniently located; it takes less than 5minutes to get to Walking Street(the shopping area). Swimming pool is located at the top of the building which provides an excellent view of the town and sea. Room is big and bed is nice to sleep on. Service of the staff is good and friendly. Free wifi and a safe deposit box in the room is provided. major shopping centers and eateries are just a stone's throw away and just on the location alone it is already very value for money.

Good location but not so friendly customer service
Nice hotel room and hotel location very near to beach, shopping centers, eating places, easy to get around

deluxe balcony is quite spacious and clean, nice seating area with writing desk and kitchen sink although there were not cutlery, plates, etc. bathroom was big but no shower stall and no curtain and no toothbrushes provided. expect to have water "raining" down on the toilet floor as the shower area is almost level to the toilet and vanity area floor. quite disappointed with the customer service guys at the front desk, non-smiling non-welcoming. housekeeping staff were friendly though. buffet breakfast was simple ok. small fitness center but do-able for a quick workout. treadmills good but cross-trainer out of order. no free weights, just an all-in-one machine to work most muscle groups with attachments (instructions given). however, low pulley not working properly and creaky. location is very good, the beach is just across the hotel. also close to royal garden plaza and central festival, popular nice shopping center and many eating places nearby. there is a hair salon opposite hotel's entrance where we got our hair washed and styled. staff doesn't speak english but did a satisfactory job on our hair :) overall, we had a pleasant nice stay despite the unfriendliness of the front desk staff.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Get out of the hotel and explore! Walking Street is an interesting place to check out if you like loud music, drinking and people-watching. Just be aware that there are ladies soliciting along the street too. Guests might want to try the spa foot massage where your feet will be in the tank full of fishes chewing off your dead skin before the staff massage your feet.

Great location and room is big and clean
Very near to happening places.

very spacious, great service , big and clean room.
5 min walking distance to walking street.
the beach is just walk across the road fr the hotel.
very convenient to shopping area and eating places.
we book our cab back to bangkok airport for just thb800,this cab station is just outside the hotel beside the motorbike rental space. cab service is good too.
i'll come to to this hotel again.

Nice hotel with excellent location
Situated very near the Walking Street and right next to beach

view from roof was very nice as you can see the ocean before your eyes. the location is very convenient. rooms are large and airy. the little bed/divan near the window was nice as my 5-yr old loved to sleep in it (won't fit and adult, though). staff could have been a little more courteous. overall very nice hotel to stay, definitely recommend.
