Quiet hotel in residential neighbourhood
A quiet hotel set around a pleasant pool with large clean rooms.

The hotel was comfortable and the staff were friendly. There are no elevators in the three storey building which maybe be annoying if you're on the upper floor with luggage.
It's over 2km walk to the beach and there are no moto taxis directly outside the hotel. The nearest are 200 meters away on the main road. 50 baht to the beach during the day. Up to 100baht late at night to return.

we had a comfortable stay in the hotel. rooms were cozy, clean and big. macro location was good but a bit inside the by lanes from the main road.
be ware! while walking towards the hotel, in one of the by lanes, there's a ferocious dog, which surprisingly is let loose by the owner! We had a very very bad experience when we confronted this dog. thought of complaining to the local police but couldn't get time.

after finding bugs in my room i requested to move, they denied this request and told me to us a can of bug exterminator! After haggling with the receptionist for 20 minutes they finally moved me to another room

all rooms are pool side, which is a plus except when noisy neighbors want to hang out and talk loudly late at night. i complained to staff the next day and it wasn't as bad that night. room service dropped the ball on cleaning my room.

Great location and nice place... But...

We arrived at the Hotel and were pleased with what we saw. The Receptionist and I think, The Boss Lady were pleasant. We waited in the restaurant until the room was ready and were amazed that there is only space for 8 sunbeds by the pool. We went to the room and found it to be large and functional with a nice terrace area by the pool. A well stocked mini-bar and tea/coffee facilities, which are charged for. We ate in the hotel restaurant on the 1st night and on other occassions and had good food on every visit. The only problem with the restaurant is that the Foreign Owner likes to entertain his friends and does not curb his or his friends choice language and the main topic of conversation is based around the cost of obtaining "girlfriends" for these friends.
The other problem was that a shuttle bus was mentioned in the description of the hotel when we made our booking in November 2012. The shuttle bus is out of action and we were told that it was not going to be fixed.The hotel is a distance from the main road, and is quite a steep walk.
