We found this hotel pretty good for the price . But the rooms need updating .However they did change the curtains ! But changed to a brown colour! Well no accounting for taste.The pool is pretty good but the breakfast is only average at best.The air cons need updating and some leaks in some rooms , however for the price its about what you would expect to pay in Pattaya.

The hotel is situated very central, and with direct access to the beach, (across the seaside road.)
Due to the construction, it is formed like a horse-shoe with most rooms fronting the beautiful swimming pool in the middle, it is quiet even if the traffic outside can be very heavy.
The staff is very nice and polite, the food very good, the breakfast table is unbeatable.
Room-service is on time -and discreet.
The beautiful swimming pool is surrounded by magnificent palm trees.
And the prices are good! Well, it is the oldest hotel in town, and it shows, but that is just ok for me since I am 70 years old.
And the air-conditioner in the room could need a good cleaning... but it functions ok.

Hotel in location in central pattaya and just cross the road to the beach. If you like to stay close to bars and pubs but dont want to hear the noise, this could be a good place. It is worth the price we paid. Breakfast is pretty good. Hope that will renovate the rooms soon.

Well placed for the bars and beaches. good staff It is in need of renavation, and looks scruffy but it is clean nd the staff are great This is the fourth time I have stayed at the Nova Lodge. I have noticed a lack of repair and investment over the last couple of years. This is due to a expiry of the lease in April 2009.. The good news is that the lease is being renewed and the hotel is going into new owqnership, it will be called the CENTERA BEACH HOTEL as from that date and will undergo renavation which should make it a very desirable place to stay. The pool is a great place to spend the idle hours of your holiday and never gets to busy .
Restaurant Tip : many good rstruants down Walking Street, a short 10 baht taxi ride.

spacious grounds requires some maintenance and room upgrading Superb location in central Pattaya ideal fro exploring both North and South Pattaya. Large spacious grounds. Large clean rooms although an upgrade is required as they are looking a little shabby.

Good location, green and quite, near is a beach. Location of the place was very good, only 1 min walk to the beach. Great breakfast was included to room price. Pool area was very nice and not too many people there. Overall the hotel is good for you to stay if you want to find a clean budget hotel in Pattaya. I’ll recommend this place to stay.

Standard of the rooms are not top quality but as the hotel is closing down its understandable. as I got a better price trough Agoda I booked another stay. Price differed 200 Bath a night so it makes a difference.

good location close to the beach road very old and smelly rooms i have booked for 2 nights in standard room which have very bad smell due to the misture, not satisfied I upgraded to deluxe room ,unfortunately the room had the same odor, could not support I shifted to another hotel after 2 nighmare nights. Hotel not recommended

Nice lobby and bar, good location, room cleaning is okay, good breakfast. Old hotel, first impression lobby is okay, but the room is very disappointing. Hotel needs completely to be re-styled and re-painted, (entrance, lobby, stairways, corridors, rooms). Chairs in room probably still from Vietnam-war. Dark corridors (which makes girls feel uncomfortable walking alone).
Ask for double bed, get twin bed (put together).
Hotel Feature Tip : If prices will not drop and the hotel will not upgrade, check another (out of hundreds) hotel.

Swimming pool, position, breakfast. As it gonna close in March/April the standard is not top class.
Restaurant (except breakfast). The hotel is gonna close in March/April but the staff was surprisingly still very nice and service minded. I stayed here first time 1978 and it hasn't changed much other than that the hotel is a few years older now and as its closing down the maintenance is no more. However they are doing a good job keeping it in a rather good shape anyway. As the price is very nice I will be getting back here in February as well.

A bit old and problem closing the windows to keep mosquitoes from entering the room The bookings and checkin were as expected. There was a problem with the window in the room in that it would not close properly to prevent mosquitoes from entering. This was corrected but took some time. Other than that we had no problems with the facilities or the room
Nightlife Tip : The hotel is located very near one of the nightlife areas in Pattaya.
