Nice hotel with very well mannered staff.
Good restaurants and great views.
7.3
We were greated by very friendly and helpful staff. If you are thinking of booking the hotel just for the sirroco restaurant on the top floor make sure to book a table two weeks prior your arrival because it is very popular and unfortunately we missed out. however there are several other dining experiences which are also good.

Very nice hotel with great central location
Great modern look to this boutique Dusit hotel, great service and personnel, quiet but energetic ambience, nice pool

This my third stay at this rather new Dusit trendy hotel located on second rd accross from Soi 13/2. Good looking, modern hotel in the middle of all the action and convenient to all that Pattaya offers. The service personnel are terrific and always helpful. Rooms are offbeat and modern in look but quiet comfortable. I will be returning to this hotel many times in the future.
Restaurant Tip:
Location is right in the middle of the Pattaya nightlife scene with restaurants and bars all around.

Great hotel suffering from "pseudo-hipness"
Right in the middle of Pattaya, excellent staff
8.7
Just had to go to Pattaya for a night, so I chose one of the more central hotels. The Dusit D2 Baraquda is on 2nd street. If you're going to Pattaya and have to be near the center, that's where you should stay.
It's a fairly new hotel, interesting architecture, super-friendly staff, welcome coffee on the house, a huge pool right behind the lobby, and overall, it's a great place.
The devil is in the details, though - in this case the rooms. This is what happens when you tell an unexperienced designer to do a "hip", fashionable hotel-room. You end up with a huge bed in the middle of the room, an open toilet, a washing station somewhere near the door and a shower where it's unclear where it begins and where it ends.
Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed my overnight stay, but I am allergic against unsubstantiated design attacks on my senses - especially when form does not follow function.
Still, I'd still go there again, and even recommend it to friends - with some cautionary words of advice.

very nice hotel and locations was great!
the bed and pillows were great for a good nights sleep.
9.7
stayed for a few nights and was impressed with the layout of the hotel. room was a little small but very nicely furnished. pool was nice but i thought the water was a touch colder than a lot of hotels i have stayed in. overall i think a little over priced but still a very nice stay indeed. service and staff was very good and the location right next to the avenue was great.
Restaurant Tip:
try the breakfast at the au bon pain down stairs.. delicious menu and opened early.
