My suite was in desparate need of paint. Plenty of mould around the Air Conditioners. They advertise High Speed Internet. It is not, and had numerous problems every day with internet.
Staff were great. Food was very good.
Travel tip:
Great location, plenty of various types of restaurants in this location as well as plenty of beer bars. Not necessary a good deal for the price. Plenty of other Hotels in same area a lot cheaper.

Beautiful room right in the center of town

I upgraded to a 2 floor, studio suite. It was expensive but wow, what a nice room.
first floor has a small bar area that leads to a good sized den with a balcony, also a small bathroom. Stairs lead up to a bedroom and bathroom that is very open.
huge 2 person shower, jacuzzi tub. I felt like a celebrity.
wifi seemed extra slow but stable and super nice staff ready to help
location is in the center of Pattaya. right next door is a complex with Villa Market, movie theatres and nice restaurants. Across the street starts all the multiple Pattaya bars and nightlife.
not a budget choice but definitely worth it

The staff was extremely nice they even remembered my fiance's birthday and brought us a birthday cake so thoughtful! The room was clean unique design and very clean, the only fault I can find is the bathroom which was not private enough.

The hotel was nice, fresh and new with a fun style and a beautiful pool at night. The room was interesting and enjoyable with everything right at your fingertips, but still quiet, private and secure. The location is on one of the main streets with easy access to everything including mass transit adn only a block away from the beach - but still very quiet, private and secure with good covered parking too. Located right beside my favorite supermarket and restaurant, and next to 2 major shopping centers and just down the street from 2 more including Pattaya's best. Couldn't have been much happier, glad I decided to give it a try, even the pool was nice without being busy. I'm defeinetly going back for several days next time I visit.
Shopping Tip:
Located between four major shopping centers and just one block from the beach with mass transit right at your doorstep, couldn't have been happier

We have stayed at the Dusit Thani many times in several locations within Thailand.This was our first vist to the Dusit D2. Was pleasantly surprised at the high level of professionalism. I have worked in the hospitality industry for 0ver 25 years at a major 5 star golf resort in Central California...USA. The appointments are not as nice...however; the level of service at the D2 definitely exceeded my expectations!! I'll return the next time I am in that part of Thailand (which is saying something as I have a home about 140 kilometers from Pattaya)!

We were at D2 for just one night but it was an awesome stay. As soon as we entered we knew we made the right choice. Nice lobby, amazin rooms and absolutely wonderful staff. They clicked our snaps and gave it as a souvenir.
