The staff are not very helpful or polite. A little moody, but not rude. The rooms are very nice, decent size. nice bathroom.
if you want hotel feel and this is in your price range then youll be happy staying here. Not too noisy so children are fine/

im a 32 year old male, my stay in the sunbeam hotel was only for 3 nights, it is a very nice hotel, nice staff, and beautiful food, very clean pool area,
i had lunch in restaurant and all 3 days i was the only person in there, shame because the food is very nice.
over all i would say this hotel is more ideal for a young couple or single person who likes the night life of pattaya as the night life, bars and girls are right on your door step. im not trying to put putting the older couple off this hotel because that would be a shame because it is very nice.
but as i said bars and girls are very close by, (girls not free)

the front staff are extremely helpful and cheerful, as when i checked in my reservation was not on the list but they did their best to correct it within minutes. the rooms are clean and airy with a balcony to each room. except for not providing toothbrushes, the remaining ammenities in the room were 5 star standard. the hotel is located with 3 minutes walk to the beach and a few more minutes' walk to shopping arcades and nightlife. for those who enjoy bars there are a number of them in the vicinity. those who enjoy a relaxing swim, the pool is tastefully decorated and has a bar within. but the sauna has no privicy as it is right in the middle of the corridor. other than this, this hotel is an excellent choice.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Mind you that you take your towel down to the pool as one is not provided there.
