no free wifi
The hotel has a nice room and very short distance to beach and all nightlift spots.

I think that this hotel will be great if it will let its customers free WI-FI. I love the smoking free zone that you do not see in many hotels in Thailand.
Travel tip:
You want to get free 30 mins free wifi, you just spend 100b for their cafe where you can get extremely good capuccino and pastries.

i liked this hotel, very clean and the bedrooms were big with a nice balconay, the bathroom have a bath tub whitch is a good size, the sercuity gaurds were very helpful and new your name. the breakfast were a buffet style nice fresh food. the location is in between soi7 and soi8 great night life but does die down after 12, i liked this hotel

The staff was really nice. So much supportable. The value added services(Body massage, Internet etc.) are available all the time in a reasonable rates.
But, The room rates are not economical as compare to the other hotel which are located in the same area. And, rooms comfort and standard is also not as per mentioned by them. Its very poor.
Beware with the Nightlife !
Nightlife Tip:
The nightlife is good. So many Bars are located near to the Hotel.

Have a good time at Sunbeam Hotel Pattaya

All staff has an excellent service mind, clean room, convenience of facility use, comfortable of relaxing, good taste of food, privacy place and peace, nearby the shopping place, easy to find the trip for daily tour, etc. We are really enjoy to stay there for last long holiday and wishes to back again in next program in nearly future.

nice and clean with good sized rooms,,staff very friendly alto lost our room key one night and wanted to give us a card untill they found it,not happy and told them soi,,they found it eventually but still thought not good about that,,dont try for breakfast because so over priced when 20 meters aways another hotel offers breakfast for 140 baht,,,over all,,,,not to bad

stayed at this hotel for 1st time may '10 found it to be very comfertable and clean with very helpfull staff, housekeeeping were right on their job!
we stayed on the 10th floreat the back of hotel so was absolutley no noise from surrounding bars and nightlife and with a view.
if you intend on eating breakfast i suggest you pay with your booking as i run into another guest who hadn't and was charged 400bht per person for what is probably a so so quality breakfast way too much.
Travel tip:
laundry across the road offers 4 hr turnaround.
oh and Respect!!!! this is the land of smiles luv it!

Staff pleasant and friendly. Minibar prices good compared to other hotels of similar standard. Clean and well kept rooms although TV a little old and small.
Nightlife Tip:
Great bar at end of Soi 7 to watch the sunset over the beach.

This place is awesome! I only spent one night there after we cancelled our bangkok trip and I wished I booked my entire stay in pattaya here. I will be staying here again for sure!

If your stomach cant handle alot of thai food, on the street between soi 7 and 8, you will find an english pub (pig & whistle) or norweigien restaurant (Ohlala) to be great value and great western food!
