This is the 3rd time we are back to stay at Sunbeam Hotel at Pattaya simply because it is reasonably priced, and the rooms are nice and clean, most importantly, it is conveniently located whereby it is within walking distance to the beach, restaurants & food stalls, and night entertainment as well.
Will definitely recommend this hotel to friends who are travelling to Pattaya!

no local tour, no map, no other desk service.
I book two room but need to cancel 1 room. But the stuff said no refunds. Then I want to upgrade my room. The stuff said I need to paid US$200 per day for upgrate.

This hotel was very good value for money. It is located in the heart of the shopping and nightlife area. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. All of the staff were smartly attired and very helpfull. Some renovation work in the lobby was being undertaken but every effort was made not to inconvenience guests.
Nightlife Tip:
Soi 7 & 8 were on your doorstep, both lively bar areas

a hotel that can fit only for a very short stay ..(we stayed one night on our way to Koh Chang) as is located in local area that is worth seeing once to understand the atmosphere in Pattaya. Rooms are barely adequate, beds and pillows were comfortable, good quiet aircondition.
very good breakfast.

beware of resturants that overcharge

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. It was very clean and convenient to the beach and shopping. The staff was very friendly and ready to help at all times. The bathroom was a little small and the towels were ragged at the edges but clean nontheless. We had a room on the 5th floor and it was quiet at night. No noise from the streets. The breakfast was not really good. It had more lunch items that breakfast foods and was somewhat bland.

was pleasantly surprised by the hotel, the staff were helpful, always saluting me as i entered and left, the bed was huge and comfortable, ok the bathroom wasn't the biggest but all you do is shower there so not that much of a problem, good location 2 mins from beach, and at the heart of soi 7&8 for bars to drink the night away or get cheap taxi at bottom of road to walking street,
Nightlife Tip:
cherry bar, opposite club 23 so you can watch michelle dance and talk to a hammers fan!

A Great place for a Great price
Everything at the Sunbeam is here for you, they do their best to make your stay one you'll never forget and make yu want to return. Staff is always here for you.

Staff at the Sunbeam is always warm, caring and there for me and my fiancee. Room is always clean and fresh, it make our stay here better than being at our home. Hotel, is wonderfully situated with everything from food, bars, shopping and attractions all around it. My fiancee and I feel incredibly safe and secure at the Sunbeam and love the way they treat us and their other guest. When we return to Pattaya the Sunbeam is our hotel of choice and we would reccommend it to our friends, family and anyone who wants a trouble free Holiday, where they can live like Royalty.
Nightlife Tip:
Is close,fun and exciting.

The Sunbeam is a wonderful Hotel in an excellent location (full access and privacy as well). The staff was always warm, friendly and there for me. Housekeeping is always on point, when cleaning and freshing the room. This is an awesome hotel to feel like a King and to feel safe from your home. An awesome place at an Awesome price.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Close to the beach and the beach is always fun and has everything. Tours to other islands, submarines and sightseeing.

This hotel while in a busy area is a very quiet place. The staff is very courteous and efficient. The breakfast service is very good with a large variety of foods served. The room make up was early and thorough. Very clean rooms and bath. I found that the location was excellent as i was able to walk to all the places I wanted to visit.
My only complaint is that there is no reading lamp next to the very comfortable bed. Otherwise the lighting was very good.
The bathroom, while small, was certainly adequate with a very nice shower.
Travel tip:
Some low priced food served close by.
Low cost internet cafes were near also
