Basically it is a very bad experience. Room has a very bad smell and the room was not condusive at all. It is very noisy at night. Breakfast was rubbish. Lightings in the room does not work at times. It is very far away from walking street and have to walk to the end of the soi to get a transport, which is very far away(walk).
The only good thing near the festival central.

overall it is still acceptable because i did not spent much time in the hotel or room itself. It is near a mall which is a plus but the smell of the room does not appeal.

Stayed only one night. Good location next to Central shopping centre and near beach. Room clean and comfortable. Unfortunately air conditoner was very noisy and breakfast choice limited. But then again, it is a budget hotel.

Best location among Estiny Group Hotels
Close to everything but not in the middle of the road. Nice Pool

I stayed their standard and superior room. Superior Room is better value for the money. Hotel has a nice pool. In this low season, guests were minimal. Close to everything. I would stay there again.
Restaurant Tip:
Be sure to check out many restaurants at the Central Festival Shopping Center next block.

Right in the middle of it all
All the staff were so friendly they couldnt do enough to help you and always a smile on there faces,also air con in hotel was great

Ive stayed in this area twelve times now at different hotels this one rates at one of the best in the soi 8 area been at the end of the soi its about 150/200 hundred yards from the beach and 100 yrds off second road,theres numerous good restaurants within a five minute walk,the swimming pool area was a great size with plenty off space good size poole and ample sun beds overall this was a good budget hotel.
Restaurant Tip:
Theres a great irish pub just around the corner from the hotel food is first class

very clean, hotel and rooms. staff extremely friendly and courteous. convenient location. excellent pool. other reviews complained of noise, but my room was very quiet.

i really enjoyed my stay at eastiny place and would definitely stay again. the rooms were very clean as well as the hotel. has a great pool for doing laps. location was good for bars on soi 8 and only five minutes by taxi to walking street. on a budget this is a great buy!
Shopping Tip:
close to central festival a great shopping mall.

my thoughts on the eastiny place
the staff were very helpful and the breakfast was quite ok as long as you got there between 8 and 9 am later it seemed to be cold
the acomodation while acceptable was basic but the free safety boxes was a plus

during my stay in pattaya thialand i stayed in the eastiny place which had very helpful staff and was situated in soi eight and was very close to all the sight and activities within pattaya
the hotel was very acceptable and was maintained in a clean standard and all the house keeping staff were very pleasant and helpful and responded positively to any request made
i would definately stay there again but would always book via agoda because its less expensive that way

Coming to Pattaya you need to be in amongst the action. The Eastiny Place is reasonably priced and it is right in the heart of Soi 8, where there are plent of bars and places to eat. There are plenty of bars in Soi 8, so it would not be recommended for families. It is about 200 meters to the beach which is a bonus to get yourself cool from the heat.
Nightlife Tip:
Go out after 8pm... The action starts then and goes till 5am.

The Eastiny Place Hotel is located in Soi 8. Within 10 meters from the hotel there are many beer bars and Gogo. This make this hotel a fun place to stay for those seeking such fun. For the early sleeper, they will have a problem as noises from those beer bars can be heard until 3AM on most nights.
