I have stayed at this hotel twice before 5 years ago and 3 years ago - at that time I found this hotel to be a very good value with a great location. Unfortunately the hotel has not been maintained as well as it should have and I found everything a notch or two lower than past stays. The breakfast food was a notch lower in quality but still adequate; the pool and the pool area was a disappointment dirty and unkempt; room is a nice size but looking old and in need of some paint and refurbishing.

With only a short walk to either of the main streets this hotel provides an excellent location for people who want to stay in Pattaya. The beach is only a two minute walk away as is your nearest bar.
The staff were good, very helpful and spoke good English. The breakfast was basic but sufficient for my needs. My room was clean and kept tidy by the excellent housekeeping staff and there was always plenty of hot water. The only downsides are that the pool is small and there are not enough sun beds to accommodate all the people who are staying in the hotel and you had to pay for WIFI in your room.

the hotel is an ok hotel with a good location near the beach as well as the shopping areas and the walking street. the staff is not at all friendly or courtous.
it was a hot pattaya day, when i checked in the check in process was smooth but in a little while i noticied that the air conditioner was not cooling at all, i made a complaint and the engineers came to look at the ac after about 2 hours and said that although it was not cooling they could not find anything wrong, however the cooling did not improve and i again called the front office manager she came up to the room and agreed that it was not cooling. she said that the hotel was full and she would not be able to give me another room, i made a lot of hue and cry and asked her to give me room in some other hotel of the chain to that she replied that it was not possible, i then asked her to give me refund of my money so i would go and check in to some other hotel, this made her do something and eventualy she did give me another room but her looks and body langauge were pretty hurtful during the rest of my stay. the braekfast was very basic.

Nice hotel, not far from the beach. Good bars and shopping centres in walking distance. Also good restaurant in the surrounding of the hotel. The hotel is very central along the beach road.

It appears the owners have abandoned the place. Needs a lot of upgrading. For example TV is old with poor reception. The furniture are old and lots of chips. Occasional ant on bed. Balcony has standing room only and water dripping from floor above rusting the metal rails. Not a good look. Finally the air on at full power did operate like a fan. For the same price you can find a better hotel. I will not stay there again. Oh free wi-fi at the front reception area only.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Use online booking eg Agoda. I went to Eastiny unannounced as I was in town shopping for hotels. They said no vacancy unless I go for a more expensive room. At the foyer I logged onto Agoda and confirmed the room I wanted at a lower rate too. Within 5 mins the reception said that one room just became available and my Agoda booking just arrived. Hmmmmm coincidence? Lol

i thought the rooms themselves were ok. the hotel exterior is looking a little tired. the pool is fairly small but did the job for a nice relaxing afternoon dip. way too much chlorine though. found it hard to sleep with the cleaners camped outside my room all morning and afternoon yelling back and forth to one another. tons of russians drinking cheap vodka out the front of the hotel rather than visiting a bar. the location is the best thing about this hotel, very central to the beach, 2nd road, lk metro area, central festival and walking street. i wouldn't stay here again though.

I would not recommend this hotel. I used to stay there often earlier but it has become a bit run down.
Called reception saturday morning as water was cold and it was impossible to have a shower. I was told it will be fixed in 15 minutes. After one and a half hour and a cold shower I had to go out. Reception then told me it was being fixed. Later at night the water was warm but not hot.
I think there are better alternatives these days in Pattaya for the same price.
They also told me there were no standard rooms available, only superior ones. The standard rooms and what they call superior are identical. The only difference is that the superior rooms have a hair dryer and a kettle, things I personally do not need and certainly do not justify the price difference between the rooms.
