Will try not to stay there again

I have stayed here at least 2 other times mostly for the location, it can't be beat if you want to be near all the action. I always liked being on the ninth floor because it was very quiet. This time I finally got fed up with the poor water pressure in the shower. No overhead shower, and the hose with the shower head attachment barely reached the top of my head,and I am not tall by any means. The sink did not have any hot water, which I like to shave with.
When I am on vacation I really apppreciate 24 room service like they have at Secrets. These maids wanted to clean my room by 3pm so they could go home. I stayed here because Secrets was booked. I will look for a hotel with 24 hr room service the next time I go. The carpet in the rooms needs to be replaced.

always have a satisfactory stay at the hotel, but the hotel's breakfast is "sad". Unless I was after the most basic of breakfasts, I would eat elsewhere and pay rather than have the free breakfast at the hotel

I keeping coming back to Grand Hotel because of the close proximty to walking street and the great staff service.
Nightlife Tip:
Dont take your wallet out with you. Just take some money and your fine.

I survived it until near the pier, there are many bar around.
Nightlife Tip:
Location is very good located in the Walking Street. It is recommended If the purpose is to nightlife. However, because the noisy outside, I can not recommend to anyone who is nice and quiet environment.

The Grand Hotel is in a great location, metres away from the nightlife of Walking St and yet there was no problem with noise at night (I was on the seventh floor). The room was better than the average hotel room in Pattaya, was clean and well presented and at a fairly competitive price.
The laundry service was good.
The wireless internet did tend to drop out at times but this didn't prove to be a major problem.
The biggest downer was the attitude of the reception staff, although I really only had to deal with them when checking in and out.

The location of the hotel is right in the heart of Walking Street, and the rooms were tidy and clean,however the only downside was the staff, as they weren't friendly at all.

this is a great hotel to stay at. i have stayed several times. always good. the staff arn't overly friendly, helpfull. the location makes up for that though. the breakfast isn't that great though.
Restaurant Tip:
It's a must to go to the Kaffa bar in Jomtien for a jug of Heiky and the Prawns with Garlic. Awesome food and service there, It's on the corner of Beach rd as you get into Jomtien beach.

Very Nice Room and value for money

First time staying there and suprise to find the room very nice and clean. Will stay there again in the future and also will recommend friends to stay there in the future.
Nightlife Tip:
1 minute walk to nightlife and 10 minute walk to watch Alcatraz show. Easy to go shopping.
