Conveniently located, easily accessible, affordable. Good breakfast. Staff not fluently conversant in English. Overall a satisfactory experience. But rooms lack basic facilities of luxury hotels like tea/coffee makers in Deluxe Rooms.

Great views of the beach and beach road from upper floor balconies. No paper towel facility in ground floor rest room.
No kettle in room.
Only 1 or 2 English speaking TV channels. Only stayed 9 days here and was out a lot, but found that breakfasts were OK with plenty of variety, and TV lounge bar was tidy and clean and staff friendly.
We were on the 8th floor looking out over the sea and had great views up and down the beach road.
Never used the 4th floor pool, but the large pool at the side of the hotel was fine, but be careful of the bar stools. It's easy to slide off them!
We found the furniture in the room in good order and generally everything was very clean.
No aircon in the corridors or the lifts while we were there for some reason but not too uncomfortable. In the room was fine.
Baht buses passing all day/night so very easy to get around. Up or down the beach road as far as you want for 20 baht per person.
We would stay here again if we come back to Jomtien Beach. Absolutely nothing to put us off permanently.
Travel tip : You can 'commandeer' a baht bus to go to Pattaya for only 100 baht for the trip, not each.
Great snacks at Nanda's cafe towards north end of beach.
Suberb meals, both Thai and 'European' at Cafe de Mar which is on the beach road about 3kms south of the hotel.
If you like British beer, there's an Irish pub at the north end of the beach road near the 'Jomtien/Pattaya' archway. Nice pint of Guinness served and Sports TV.

Across from the beach. - Hard bed.
- Dated decor. We would not stay at this hotel again. The hotel is a bit dated. Staff weren't friendly or helpful as other hotels we had stayed at. Nothing great about this hotel.

Really good service
Great view
little to old bathroom in our supperior room. The servise was really great. you got drinks in the lobby and the crew was so nice to you. all the pooles was great and the food inte the outside restaurant was tasty ! the room had a great aircondition and good beds. a little minus is the old bathroom but it was not so important because the hotell was great !

An excellent room maintenance service including the various outlets that make a client feel welcome! A great location and hotel for true "Rest & Recreation" for the family Reception may seem a bit strict towards a client's simple request like a couple of hours' delay in checking out time instead of being so sharp @ 12.00 noon! The hotel should realize that NOT ALL clients will come in sharp @ 2.0 pm also! Grand Jomtien Palace fits itself very appropriately as a great tourist hotel where the service and outlets make it stand up ahead of many other hotels for the price being paid. A good hotel with at least a four STAR standard & above

An impressive hotel and the service is good. The hotel has a suitable gym with a small pool for guests to sun bathe and with another larger pool for swimming, sun bathing and recreation. The food outlets are adequate and service is good price very reasonable The reception is very strict about checking out time and it becomes a bit unreasonable knowing fully well that in coming guests never arrive on time @ 2.00 pm anyway since the airport and Bangkok is so far away. A bit of flexibility will help An impressive hotel where majority of the guests are foreigners especially caucasians. The price is reasonably low including the food and they should be great value for the holiday makers. The breakfast served is good and worthy
Travel tip : The beach front is unique with relaxing chairs to spend the day including a variety of local food.

Located right across the jomtien beach Staff does not bother about guest. The hotel location is good,had booked superior room,but as per the hotel staff all rooms alike so there is no point paying extra!!! Rooms are lousy,often there is a power break down n you find the city beautifully illuminated n the dark tall hotel building. Very very poor!!!

Several great swimming pools.
Good view from upper floors.
Great breakfast buffet. Just a bit far from the action and entertainment areas. Though not quite a palace, it was a very nice high-rise hotel with great swimming pools and a very nice breakfast buffet. The staff was very friendly, and helpful to arrange transportation and day trip/excursions. The room was large and had a nice decor, and it was easy enough to take the baht buses to Pattaya- only about a 15 minute trip. Overall, it was worth the price.

Very friendly staff. Good location and ok rooms. No special negative remarks. We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. The rooms was nice and quite comfortable. We had seawiew from the room, and could alsosit out on our private balcony. The staff was very friedly and helpful. The swimming pool area is very nice, and also the nearby restaurants are good. I will choose this hotel again if I go to Jomtien again.

The attention to the need of the client without being intrusive or overbearing A greater variety of food at breakfast - the offerings did not change at all. The cost of using the hotel tour facilities was dearer than from my travel agent. The location is excellent and the staff very attentive. It appears that the staff have been instructed to greet in English rather than the Thai language which was disappointing. I was impressed with the quality of food and its service. Also, cleanliness (for which many Westerners unjustly criticize Thailand) was of the highest quality including the pool area. I will definitely stay there again when I return.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Check for prices on sightseeing trips. The hotel's price were dearer than the taxi one.

Cleanning was very good, the food and swimming pool was very well done and maintained. Safe was in hotel not in the cottage. Hotel condition was poor, food was very good and good clean, location was very clean , the cottage was also very clean, location was perfect for shopping, sightseeing and the beach was close.

Everything you can think of I have stayed here many times and as far as I am concerened this is the best hotel I have ever stayed at. The service is excellent with good food and friendly personnel. It is away from the noise and hustle bustle of Pattaya and yet convenient to go to the bar areas of Pataya. Jomtien also has its nightlife as well.
