layout is excelent, oasis in the city Green Park Star is falling, needs updating and maintanance to compete, staff are disinterested in thier guest's and have a bad attitude close it down and start over,better value and service easy to find anywhere

Good Value
Attentive Staff
Good response from House-keeping and maintenance when required. Perhaps time to remove the old radios, and replace with DVD/CD equipment. Green Park is a really nice resort, and well positioned in Pattaya.
The Swimming Pool set-up is beautiful, and caters for young and old alike.
The groiunds of the hotel have mature gardens, and make a lovely venue for a holiday.
I found the staff to be friendly, and rresponsive to all requests from Room Servise to housekeeping and maintenance. If you ask...it is done!!!
Agoda's prices make this a good value venue for a holiday.
The hotel is also ina good part of Pattaya, close to many bars and restaurants, and shopping.
Walking Street is only a 10 baht ride on a multi-user taxi (pick-up), which is a form of transport which is easy for any visitor to use.
For the first time, I was in a bungalow which was close to the pool. I have seen many negative comments about the bungalows, but I must say, that I enjoyed being in a bungalow. Of course..people's tastes vary. For me..it worked!!
I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel!!
Restaurant Tip : The World of Sport restaurant is ideal if you wish to keep in touch with Premier League football
and rugby and Formula One whilst on holiday. The food is great!!!...whether Western or Thai ccuisine!!

Position away from the main beach area

The food and selection for breakfast People placing towels on pool chairs every day and not sharing The position of the resort was just far enough away from the sleazy town and beach area of Pattaya. You are in your own special paradise with beautiful surroundings and a magnificent pool area. The resort facilities are of a very high quality and the cleanliness of the resort is exceptional. The added bonus of a verandah off each room was very welcome in the morning and at night where you could enjoy a coffee or a gin and tonic in the privacy of your little world. There is a supermarket at the end of the street where you can pick up supplies very cheaply. The breakfast buffet was very good and a good choice of foods and plenty of it. The chef was on hand to cook a selection of ggs for your liking. Thre was a little food restaurant across the road from the resort serving Thai food very cheaply and ice cold beer. Very convenient for a meal or a quick snack. There are plenty of clean and good massage placs close by and very reasonably priced. Shopping in the town shopping area is good and you can bargain the prices to suit. The availability of the internet was an added bonus and always available for a small cost. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this resort
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Just a short walk to the end of the street and jump on a baht bus that will take you down to the beach and main shopping area for 10 baht. Sure beats walking.

- Nong Nooch Village of Gardens, Orchids and Elephant - Located just off Sukhumvit Road a few km south from Pattaya, Nong Nooch is one of Pattaya's most outstanding tourist attractions. In addition to gardens featuring orchids and many tropical plants and snakes, the park features monkeys climbing trees to harvest coconuts, an outdoor elephant show, an indoor cultural show which includes numerous folk dances, a war-like re-enactment of wars fought on elephant back, traditional ceremonies, and muay Thai boxing. The entire complex, including botanical gardens and nurseries covers 500 acres, with vacation accommodations. The Nong Nooch Village includes restaurants, and a beer garden.
- The Big Buddha Image A major image of the Buddha, plus a Hindu Buddha, and seven smaller Buddha images representing each day of the week, are featured in a park like setting near the Royal Cliff Hotel and Beach Resort and other tourist facilities just south of the downtown area of Pattaya. In an area called "Buddha Hill", a high knoll where a large Buddha image is displayed, and which also is home to the Pattaya Fitness Park, visitors will find a memorable tourism site in which to stop and spend some time, and get a taste of Thai culture and some remarkable views of the Pattaya area. .
- Pattaya Fitness Park On Pratumnak Road, just as one approaches the top of the hill, is the area known as the Pattaya Fitness Park, where many athletes, weight lifters, and others seeking healthy exercise work out to keep in shape or get in shape. The park provides a good view of much of the Pattaya area, as well as an opportunity to see athletes work to keep their bodies in good shape.
- Khao Kheow Open Zoo Near Sri Racha, about 30 kilometers fromPattaya, Khao Kheow Open Zoo is a huge zoo with animals in a natural setting, including bears, elephants, buffalo, snakes, monkeys, deer and many other interesting wild animals free to roam. It also has a large aviary through which visitors may walk, in which more than 100 species of birds are found. Night safaris are offered through the zoo area by tram.

From the A12 motorway, Pisa exit
Fallow signs for Tirrenia - Camp Derby. Continue 4 Km on the main road and turn right in the direction of Tirrenia. After 3 Km, turn left for Livorno at the intersection and proceed along the shore road for 3 km. Green Park Resort will be on your left.
From the Pisa G. Galilei airport
Follow signs for the A12 motorway, proceed approximately 3 km and take the road with signs indicating Tirrenia - camp Derby.
