Good location at the north end of the Pattaya corniche. If you are traveling with kids, the layout of the hotel around the massive pool is great. They did a good job of keeping the bar girls out and were reasonably quiet and relaxing. Hotel had lots of families travelling with children. Massive breakfast buffet. 200 yds to the corniche and your pick of food, bars, shopping, etc.

Superior rooms are small, the air conditioning was underpowered. You must ask for an internet accessible room when you check in, most superior rooms cannot connect to the internet. Pool shut at 1800, even though well lit.

Nice layout around the pool was great for kids. swim-up bar, but the pool closes promptly at 1800. For those in a superior room, you can buy internet access (150 baht/24 hrs) and battle the mosquitos around the pool in the evening. This was probably the most irritating feature of this hotel. The hotel staff did try to fulfill any service or assistance request quickly. Small restaurant across the alley had great thai food for cheap, and also did laundry and ran some excursions. Walk to the main road and your are in the german/russian area north of the corniche. You can get some good food here, and many languages are spoken. Walk the corniche to see the full splendor of Pattaya city. IT is all there, the good, bad, and some ugly. We were not there for the bar scene, but it appeared vibrant and even hyperactive. Lots of shops and restaurants are very close and reasonably priced.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Head to the opposite end of the corniche on a jeepney to the wharf at the end of the walking street. You can catch a ferry out to the Koh Larna coral island for cleaner ocean swimming. Take your water shoes and be prepared to get wet getting back onto the ferry! restaurants at the beach for lunch, chairs, and an umbrella. PS - the lunch counter at the Tessco Lotus up the street from the hotel had super food served at street cart prices.

Quiet, good location, good connection to the centre, great swimming pool

Some of the rooms are a bit worn out, and need some renovation. For instance the airco is quite noisy and the furniture (especially on the balcony) is worn out

My overall impression of the hotel is very positive. The staff is friendly and helpfull. The breakfast is good. The hotel is a perfect place for people that like to stay in a quiet place, but with excellent connections to the centre. One minus are the compulsory galadinners for both Christmas and New Year's eve. These mount up to some 5000 bath. Other places have only 1 compulsory event for e.g. 800 bath.

Restaurant Tip : Some local restaurants close to the hotel. These places offer good quality at a reasonable price in a more quiet environment than restaurants located at the main road

Good location, beautiful garden, nice swimming pool, reasonable price.

Small beach. Too few deck chairs around the pool.

The hotel is nice, has a beautiful garden, lots of flowers, a nice round swimming pool. The price they charge is reasonable. The location is very good: North Pattaya, very close the roundabout with the statue of a dolphin, easy to find and weel served by tuk tuks and taxis. The beach is a bit far and very small. Around the pool there are only a few deck chairs, not enough for everybody. Some people get up at 7:00 just to put their towel and stuff on them. The rooms are medium sized but very clean. They change towels every day. I don't know how often they change bedsheets, as I stayed there only for the week end.

Close to Pattaya

Worn and lacking maintenance

The Hotel is located in the northern part of Pattaya, and within working distance of bars, restaurants and Beach. Hotel rooms are nice but worn, swimming pool is great, the garden is nice but lack maintenance. Staff is friendly and appear to be easy going . We stayed for 3 nights that we had booked on internet but moved down to south end of Jomtien to a much newer hotel which was really great.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Go to million year stone park

The beautiful grounds and swimming Pool Very quiet Good value Friendly Staff Buffet Breakfast

Maybe a little upgrade in furnishings in the room.

Before we booked I researched all the reviews of different Hotel and decided on The Green Park Resort which is located in North Pattaya off a side street near the Dusit round about. A 10 baht bus ride gets you into central Pattaya from the top of the road. If you are looking for all the action on your door step this is probably not the hotel for you, it is more suitable for families with its quiet relaxing environment. We really enjoyed our stay, the huge swimming pool/(plus children’s pool) were set in peaceful, very beautiful tropical grounds . The staff we found were very friendly and eager to please with plenty of smiles Our room was a superior ground floor room at the far side of the resort and the balcony looked out on the tropical garden, not that far away from the pool. The room was ok, clean and well serviced everyday. Breakfast buffet was available 7am to 10am, with quite a good variety, maybe cooked tomatoes and pancakes for us westerners should have been on the everyday selection instead of occasionally- but overall good. On the days we were in we enjoyed the swim up bar for a hamburger lunch which worked out about 109 baht, and a cocktail $283 baht for 2. I know in Patong it was a lot more expensive. Yes we would recommend this Hotel and we have no hesitation of staying there again.

Nice Swimming Pool, Centrally Located, Well Spread out Breakfast, Nice and Clean Rooms.

None

Green Park is a resort located in North Pattaya and has all the comforts for a relaxed holiday. Nice swimming pool, good rooms, helpful and friendly staff are just a few of the pros. I had an ordinary room booked but was upgraded to a suite at no charge. I thought that was very nice.

Restaurant Tip : Lots of nice restaurants around the resort.

Good Value Attentive Staff Good response from House-keeping and maintenance when required.

Perhaps time to remove the old radios, and replace with DVD/CD equipment.

Green Park is a really nice resort, and well positioned in Pattaya. The Swimming Pool set-up is beautiful, and caters for young and old alike. The groiunds of the hotel have mature gardens, and make a lovely venue for a holiday. I found the staff to be friendly, and rresponsive to all requests from Room Servise to housekeeping and maintenance. If you ask...it is done!!! Agoda's prices make this a good value venue for a holiday. The hotel is also ina good part of Pattaya, close to many bars and restaurants, and shopping. Walking Street is only a 10 baht ride on a multi-user taxi (pick-up), which is a form of transport which is easy for any visitor to use. For the first time, I was in a bungalow which was close to the pool. I have seen many negative comments about the bungalows, but I must say, that I enjoyed being in a bungalow. Of course..people's tastes vary. For me..it worked!! I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel!!

Restaurant Tip : The World of Sport restaurant is ideal if you wish to keep in touch with Premier League football and rugby and Formula One whilst on holiday. The food is great!!!...whether Western or Thai ccuisine!!

Position away from the main beach area The beautiful greenery and gardens and the size of the pool The size of the rooms The food and selection for breakfast

People placing towels on pool chairs every day and not sharing

The position of the resort was just far enough away from the sleazy town and beach area of Pattaya. You are in your own special paradise with beautiful surroundings and a magnificent pool area. The resort facilities are of a very high quality and the cleanliness of the resort is exceptional. The added bonus of a verandah off each room was very welcome in the morning and at night where you could enjoy a coffee or a gin and tonic in the privacy of your little world. There is a supermarket at the end of the street where you can pick up supplies very cheaply. The breakfast buffet was very good and a good choice of foods and plenty of it. The chef was on hand to cook a selection of ggs for your liking. Thre was a little food restaurant across the road from the resort serving Thai food very cheaply and ice cold beer. Very convenient for a meal or a quick snack. There are plenty of clean and good massage placs close by and very reasonably priced. Shopping in the town shopping area is good and you can bargain the prices to suit. The availability of the internet was an added bonus and always available for a small cost. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this resort

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Just a short walk to the end of the street and jump on a baht bus that will take you down to the beach and main shopping area for 10 baht. Sure beats walking.

Little dated.

Have stayed here before and will stay here again, beautiful swimming pool and surrounding gardens. Located near the heart of Pattaya, close to transport and a short walk to the beach. Although this hotel has been around for a long time I think that this charm is what I like best about this hotel.

great location, fabulous pool, terrific breakfast, good value!

Bedside lights were dim, making it difficult to read. Pool not lit up at night and closes at 7 p.m.

Hotel has a great location! Set back from the main street, it is a peaceful respite in a tropical setting, though the action and nightlife of Pattaya is only a short walk or baht bus drive away! We stayed in a poolside bungalow and the pool is fantastic. Plentiful lounge chairs and umbrellas for shade, the pool is almost like a lagoon in the center of the hotel complex. The room was comfortable with several English stations on the tv. The breakfast buffet provided variety each day, and included fresh fruit, yogurt, breads, cold meats and hot dishes, as well as made to order omelets on the patio of the hotel. All in all a great choice and great value. We would absolutely stay there again!

Restaurant Tip : The hotel dining room for meals other than breakfast was on the pricey side. Directly across the street from the hotel is a little hut that doubles as a laundry/restaurant. The food is good and very reasonable! The Thai Shrimp Curry was so good we ate there twice!

The pool, the staff are wonderful

The pool closing at 18:00 each night

This resort is great for those looking for a quiet, reasonable stay in Pattaya. It is located in North Pattaya, which means you are away from the hustle and bustle, yet only a short distance (by a baht bus)away. The rooms are clean and facing the pool area and the hotel offer a good selection for breakfast.

Travel tip : It should only cost you 10 Baht to get into the Walking Street in Pattaya from this hotel (with a Baht Bus).
