i arrived rather late. checking in is a bit of a hassle, it took me around half an hour to check in due to high occupancy. we got an upgraded room. we didn't know where to get tifanny show tickets, the staffs offered to help getting the tickets. the staffs are friendly and helpful. the room has bold and unique design. my friend's birthday was the day we check out the hotel, the staff gave us a birthday cake when we check out the hotel. it was a nice surprise.

we have stayed here before, although not fans of pattaya itself. the hotel is ideal for the children and they have a great time, particularly with the pool side staff who make them feel extremely welcome. the room junior rocker suite was ideal for the family (3 children) was comfortable and welcoming and the kids loved the x-box (nice touch). breakfast was good, ideal choice and service of coffee was very good. an ideal short break. one thought though, very bad smell of drains was prevalent on the floor we stayed on.
Travel tip:
Mikes Mall ideal for cheap rip offs.
Look out for DVD stalls when you have children as they have a great deal of pornographic material which is highly visible.

This is the first hotel in Thailand that we had a soft comfortable bed ! Felt so good to get a good nights sleep and not wake up with aches and pains !

the thai management, of this otherwise good reputed hotel/restaurant chain, has absolutely ruined the goodwill of hard rock. the room service never seems to get to ur order to room before 1 hour, the house keeping is always sleeping. nothing done until u call them and shout on them three to four times.
the spa is good but the cleaning staff is bad..
the steam and sona are bisexual but the steam room smelled of urination. on bringing the issue to the staff, without cleaning they just threw a bucket of water in the steam room and walked off.
Travel tip:
there are other hotels to chose from.

The best location in Pattaya, we have had a wonderful time. The service was great with smile. The room was clean and quite big.
