Good hotel and service but some minor problems

all in all, the hotel and its service was excellent. good view of the beach can be seen from many of the rooms of the hotel. excellent fitness facilities are also found on the 5th floor. breakfast was great. however, the air conditioner and lightings was somehow automatically turned off once in a while for about 3 times during our 2 days stay.
Restaurant Tip:
Nearby the hotel just about 10 minutes drive is a restaurant called Moom Aroi. It is near the beach and the food is great.

Enjoyed stay and memorable trip. We have enjoyed good Break fast. If we plan in advance, we can get competitive price.
Nice location and located in Beach front and pleasant view. Hotel staff hospitality is very good and check out formailites is very quick.

Very surprised with holiday inn. Had bad experience in other part of the world but surprised with the standards here. Water pressure for the bath was a little low. Else absolutely no complains about it.
Restaurant Tip:
There's a wonderful restaurant called mantra just on the right of it. Try that. A little pricey for pattaya but a good experience.

Good location. Away from sleaze

Away jfrom south pattaya where the sleaze is. Was there for business so located up north means away from traffic you will get in the central. Nice pool. Would have tried if I had time.
Restaurant Tip:
There's a gulliver's outside of the hotel, on the left. Couple of blocks down. The local food there is superb. Suitable for folks who wanna go local but daren't have it at the road side stalls because of hygiene.

Much better than Amari

stayed at amari garden bay previously but it was bad. heard ocean tower at amari was much better but was priced much higher. decided to try holiday inn because it was priced just above the gardens but similar to the tower. no regrets. great rooms and generous sized bathroom.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Needed to check out at 530am and room service has not even started then. Made a request for them to prepare a simple breakfast for me at 530 which they saw too. Good staff.

Good hotel and great location
The hotel is right on the beach but not in the heart of all the restaurant and bars but they are only walking distance which is nice as the Hotel is quite compared to some.

This is the second time we have stayed here and both times have been ok. The staff are all good the rooms are nice and clean. Plenty of Food and drink but no mini bar in the room. They have a fridge and cable tv.
Restaurant Tip:
There is a Italian restaurant about 5 mins walk just before the Hard rock hotel. Give it a miss the staff and food are crap. It's expensive to there is one on the road behind which is much better.

we stayed for 5 days and i can tell that this was one of the best hotels i ever stayed it.
my compliments to management of the hotel, i know how difficult is to keep such high level of service and train staff so well.
great job!
i am happy that i stayed in this hotel and highly recommend it to others travelers to pattaya.
Restaurant Tip:
Avoid eating in restaurants near hotel, food is overpriced and not tasty comparing to Bangkok. After few days we start eating at the hotel and food there is really good!

It was really a pleasure staying with the IHG brand of hotels. Welcoming and staff are so friendly. They quickly acknowledge you when you handle them your priority card membership and upgrade you to the nearest and better room. My room was on the 24th floor and have a fantastic sea view.
The room was big and bed was so comfortable. even though we are on a beach resort, the noise from outside were not penetrate-able into the room.
The staff who check us in was so professional and I like her attitude. Rare in the service industry nowadays. The breakfast as great and a wide range of food. Enjoy it so much.
Check-out was easy and was like a breeze!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Walk or grab a taxi to walking street or go for a parachute sailing, Its fun!
