Stylish and well fitted. Comfortable modish bedrooms with excellent bathroom. Balcony, but mine did not have much of a view, just nearby buildings.
Only about 300 m to the beach, and to Beach Road with baht buses.
Over-styled eg lot of furniture was very low indeed so not really comfortable to sit on.
Bus tourist groups can be noisy.
If you are averse to Indians, stay away!
Hotel Vista was my choice as it is well-situated in Soi 4, just off Beach Road. The staff were very efficient and helpful. My room was immaculate.
The outdoor pool was a bit uninspired, next to a roadway.
And contrary to reports the hotel was not 'girl friendly', I was hit with a substantial 'visitor fee' when I imported a local working girl for a social occasion.
Nightlife Tip : Down the Soi to Beach Road bars. Up the Soi to Second Street bars. Hundreds of them! Hotel itsef is quiet though.

I loved the rooms and service. Almost everything about it was great. this also have a great spa must use atleast once
the air conditioning in the rooms didn't seem to work but might just be user's problem. and pool liked a little dirty. thing really else wrong
Love everything about this hotel from the service to the free breakfast. for the price you can't really beat it. I wish hotels in the states would learn a lesson or two from thai hotels in general. i would reccomand anyone to this hotel and if i get to come back i will stay here again.

The best part of the hotel is the location. It was nice quiet, out of the way. Yet, it was still close to Beach Road/Second Road...I was able to take a baht bus to all attractions in pattaya within 10 minutes. Also, I liked the 32" LCD TV in the room...they have a lot of american/english cable channels. I liked the in-room safe..its big enough for my laptop and DVD player. Its a new hotel...the lobby is nice, pool area nice. Its looks like the fitness area will be nice. They were in the process of setting all the equipment up when I left.
The worst part of this hotel is the bed. It was the hardest bed I have ever slept on in my life. The bed spread(comforter)is 4" inches thick which is great for cold weather, not so great for a tropical climate like Thailand. I asked for a new bed spread...I got another sheet. The bath tub is huge...a lot of reviewers will rave about it. They will fail to mention...to get in the tub you will need to step over the 2 foot wall...which is not normally a problem. However, if you been partying all night, you can really bust your butt...
It is hard to believe that this is a a brand new 4 star hotel. This is really a 3 star hotel, that charges 4 star prices. The accommodations are good but not worth the money. You should be able to find comparable accommodations for less...literally right around the corner on Soi 3...BJ Holiday Lodge.
Shopping Tip : There is a mall called "Big C" at the end of the block towards 2nd road...they got many places to eat,and place to watch movies. There is a really good Thai massage place on beach road...toward the end of the block...a 2nd blocks walk.
