Great main pool (if you're in the first tower, but you can use it if you stay in either tower). Close to Dongtan Beach, which is nicer than most beaches in the area (maybe because it's a little gay, I don't know, but it ain't flagrant, so anyone could enjoy it). Rooms seem to be pretty spacious, and because of the lack of guests, you can have the gym, pool, web cafe, etc., all to yourselves.

Because the place if pretty vacant, kind of like staying at a haunted hotel.....plus the electricity shuts down every so often, esp. during a thunder storm. Don't get caught in the elevators. Otherwise, a kind a cool place to stay.

The Jomtien Palm Beach Hotel is kind of corporate (two large towers right near the beach) but kind of quirky and interesting at the same time. The place has a bowling alley, a hair salon, two pools, a gym, and Internet cafe, etc., yet nobody seems to use these facilities. That could be because I stayed there during low season, and it looked like they had about 5% occupancy at the entire hotel. Don't know. Staff was pretty nice, if bored. Place is very convenient to Jomtien and Southern Pattaya. Nice beaches nearby, and a stocked 7/11 and Thai pharmacy just steps away. What more could you need? A few weird construction/aesthetic features of the hotel will remind you of Stephen King novel, but just ignore them and enjoy your stay.....

Nightlife Tip : Jomtien doesn't have a lot in the way of nightlife (unless, for some reason, the Jomtien Complex gets really feck during high season) so take the 60 baht santeaw ride over to Pattayland for the real crazy bar beers of your choosing. Great time. Like a grewat weekend of R&R from your tour of Nam, and has everything you need to get drunk.....crazy chicks will yell at you while you walk down the street. Don't know how to explain it, just go and experience the cool surrealism of Thailand.

location, decent breakfast, lots of facilities, really nice pools, friendly and knowledgeable staff, nice toiletries in bathroom, big room with king bed and twin bed

hotel needs renovation, room decor is faded and it feels like a 2-3 star hotel, also smells a bit musty, ants were in the room and in the bathroom, mattress was uneven and hard, not many cable channels

overall the stay was nice. the hotel is in need of room renovation but at least it was clean. at the very least, the carpets need to be removed. because of the carpets the room and hallways were musty smelling and probably not good for anyone with bad allergies and/or asthma. this is a hotel for big tour groups and in the low season it's fine, but i am sure that in the high season it is far too hectic! the location was great and staff were extremely helpful.

Rooms were big and clean (furnishings were dated) Full-serviced, gym, massage, computer center, two pools, breakfast... located well at the head of Jomtien beach.

Staff barely spoke English. Concierge was not helpful with suggesting things to do. Doorman was not willing to flag a cab to the front of the hotel in the rain (instead asked me to walk to the street to do it myself) Hotel is filled with large loud tour-groups from Russian and China.

The service is terribly lacking for self-travel. But you are staying with a tourgroup who is organizing everything, then it might be fine.

close to beach and restaurants, good sized pool

Housemaids were talking loudly early in morning, early morning departing tour groups banging their doors(not hotel's fault)

Well situated with all the usual tourist hotel facilities, good sized pool, and the breakfast was the normal international range of foodstuffs that were replaced regularly. I found staff were helpful and pleasant. Rooms were fine but starting to date. The shower is seperate from the bath which was a nice bonus. Hotel is mainly used by Russians and other tour groups which resulted in a lot of door banging from 6 a.m. onwards as they departed on their daily tours. 300 baht charge for 2nd key card was a bit odd but it is refundable.

close to beach

bad smell

I selected here because of the bathroom photo which posted on the hotel's website. I arrived there around 9.00 a.m. and checked in without any problem eventhough I had just booked the room 9 hours ago. At this first contact point, it would be better if the hotel's receptionist welcome me with smile. Let's move to the room, along the corridor way, there was bad smell and also in the room. But fortunately, it's dissapeared after opening air con around 10 minutes. I found that the bathroom look different from the photo especially the size, it's about half. And there was a funny experience in keycard. There is no room number specified in the keycard, and I'd forgot it. I could remember only the floor number and tried to find it by touching the keycard at the door. It's success at the first trial!

I like hotel room, it's quite big. and great bath room. Swimming pool make me enjoy but it should have warming pool area because I'm feel too cold. So I would like to give a point to all area which I'm touch. (1-5) Room -- 5 Swimming Pool -- 3 Breakfast -- 4 Parking -- 4 Reception -- 5 PS. Hotel should give free one bowling game for customer.

Housekeeping is very poor. because when I'm arriving my room card is wrong from reception (I cannot access my room) So I asked her help me to change my card. But she answer me that the customer must be change by own. and she did not help me anything. I must ask her for help me to call reception.

Great pool. Very clean good sized rooms. Excellent amenities. Bowling alley a bonus.

Not the Hotel's fault, but the beach is pretty ordinary. Most tourist info written in Russian and not English.

Loved my stay here. The rooms are really nice. The pool area is fantastic. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Easy access from front of the hotel to Pattaya South. We used the bowling alley and pool room for some added enjoyment. Didn't use the beach because it was too crowded with chairs and umbrellas everywhere. A bit more tourist info in English would have been nice.

Hotel Feature Tip : Have a go at the bowling for a bit of retro fun.

The two big swimming pools, and the breakfast.

Unfriendly welcome, no porter. The housekeeping staff chat so loud in the morning that it is impossible to sleep.

Arrived in a taxi in front of the hotel, and there was nobody helping me carry the luggage. The welcome was absolutely unfriendly and there was nobody to help me carry the luggage to the room. When I said this I had to wait 5 minutes until someone came to help. I had ordered a non-smoking room, what I got was a stinking smoking room. In the early morning the staff was chatting so loud that sleep was impossible. The equipments are old and shabby.

Many Russian and Korea tour groups.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Don't go there during the water festival if you don't have a good sense of humour. It can be a very wet ride to town.

I would stay here again, maybe when it is more off season and it is not so crowded.

Hotel Feature Tip : As the main pool is always crowded, go to the 3rd floor of the second building and there is a beautiful pool with hardly anyone there, a good place to read and relax.

Only stayed one night but the room was clean, hotel is directly across from the beach and they will let you take towels over to the beach. The pool is new and well laid out and we spent hours playing in it. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance if you choose not to eat in the Hotel.

I like swimming pool. Front adjacent to the beach front restaurant and Dinner in the atmosphere of the evening.

Scent of a room floor, and between AL and staff feel welcome. Less cheery.

This hotel is considered the atmosphere and service level 3 to 4 Stars arrive at a convenient parking extensive care and the overall customer service โอเค Unfortunately. Rooms must be quite a book and raceTo stay for bookings over the Internet or company tour price will be much. more expensive recommend bookings through above is better if asked to put back again? Option is still on your mind ครับ.

Nightlife Tip : Attractions at beach Peak at night is not as many as Pattaya beach. Recommend the use of a vehicle traveling ครับ.
